This is exceptional value for the money upon initial install. The instructions are awful, but if you have any sense of DIY or How-To skills, it’s easy enough to figure out. I will update review after many uses and putting miles on, but it appears it should be relatively good at keeping out water (we shall see), and is completely locked in if your tailgate can lock. Upon install, it looks good, and I’m happy with the purchase! This coming from a super-skeptic and one who researches EVERYTHING before making a purchase. If you don’t want to spend North of a grand on a cover, this one’s for you. It’s traveled 10000 miles in the short time I’ve had it. Even survived a few car washes. It’s found a home on my truck.

Favorite truck accessory so far. Very water resistant, secure storage, held up well during a recent road trip. I’ve no concerns on stability, the foam pads have started to come unglued around the corners. But that is not a difficult fix. Overall worth the money and looks great!

This really is a quality product. I was quite nervous as these can range in the thousands and feared shotty craftsmanship or materials. Pleasantly surprised. Sturdy, quality materials even in the accessories and small parts. It's rather heavy but managabl3, and I would note this as a good thing as well, speaks to the quality material. Best installed with you under the panel if your mind sees the instructions like mine does. It's a tight fit and maybe my only slight critique is the tailgate closes a bit less easily but again, this is also needful if you want it to truly seal from the elements. ... show more

We bought this to secure our luggage in the bed of the truck, for a road trip. CONS: - not 100% leak proof, a little comes in around the corners, mostly because the foam there is poorly glued on. Can be an easy DIY fix. - the pads that prevent it from denting itself, while open, fell off in the AZ heat. Again, easy DIY fix. PROS: + very secure. I tried to pry it up (hands only), and move it around - it stays put. + easy to fold, and pretty easy to install (1000% better than the old soft cover that I had in the 1990's) + better mpg. I wasn't expecting this, but by highway mpg went up by +3! This was a nice side bonus, especially right now with current admin jacking up the price of gas. ... show more

This is exactly my 13th time writing this review! I’ve been prevented from posting this so many times for some reason! I’m pasting my review here: It’s supposed to keep my work equipment dry, and the 1st hard rain I faced, everything in the bed was soaking wet, and the bolts now are completely rusty which means the water was going inside, although have the cover completely sealed with the foam that came with it and an extra layer I added for extra protection. My equipment got ruined that I had to buy another equipment with a $2000 plus! Because the bolts are super rusty, it’s barely opening now since needs so much force unlock it. The other thing I faced is that it doesn’t take tiny hits while you’re driving, means it’s normal to get a hit by a small rock or other objects while you’re driving on the highway, but when the cover got hit, it left marks and scratches. Another issue is when it folds off and on, it leaves gaps on the separators. And that’s on all sections not just one. I hope this review will be online because I tried to reach out to the company before and got no answer. ... show more
