I purchased the FPower pump, model FX704 for about a year now. I have the unit partially submerged in my pool to drain rainwater. The unit is plugged into an outdoor GFI outlet with 3 prongs. The unit has been working fine for a year in this location, but now the GFI is being tripped after a few seconds when I plug in the pump. I tried two other devices, and this outlet is working fine to power other electric devices without issue. I inspected the outlet, the power cord, and have not found any problems such as exposed wire, but I am still having this issue with the GFI tripping a few seconds after plugging in the pump. I contacted the company by email and the email address was not found, then I sent a message on Amazon to the Seller and have not received a response. ... show more

Leak at seal near bottom of pump. Works fine until the water level gets below the seal and then it starts spraying out. Haven’t had time to try to fix it yet. Otherwise, seems like a decent pump for the price.
