I bought a few of these to help my plants survive. These lights are saving my plants. I can see a difference after a couple of months. There are buttons to change the intensity and the timing of the lights. I really believe these lights are making my plants more beautiful.

The grow light is as attractive as it looks and performs as described. I was so happy with the first one, a week later I bought a second. My plants seem to love it - they are perking up. One thing I want to point out is the electrical cord for the light is attached at the top. In the photos you don't see a cord so one might think it is threaded through the telescopic pole. It is not but at least it is a clear wire, easily wrapped around the pole or can be pulled straight down along the pole and taped to the base, out of sight. ... show more

These lights are the perfect size, bright, and I love the timer function. They are very adjustable and can be on a tall plant and work well. After 3 weeks, my plant seems to be struggling with even, appropriate growth. It is possible the light is not delivering what this plant needs. I need to look into it more and try the light on different plants ... show more

I got the shorter light for my nursery/ rehab/ propagation station. The weather in Maine has been gloomy lately, and my plants were not happy. They are all alive and doing much better now! Setup was simple and the timer/ brightness adjustment is awesome.

I bought this in March and used it for less than two months. I set it to the 12 hour setting (9a-p) when I got it and let it be. The plants seemed to grow well under it and everything was going well. Then I noticed if the lamp got bumped the light would flicker. I checked the plug and it was firmly seated but extremely hot to the touch. I probably should have stopped using it then but I let it cool down then plugged it back in. Fast forward to yesterday when it was again flickering and I checked the plug and it was once again searing hot, but this time there was the smell of burning plastic and the clear cord and white power box are both partially melted and blackened. Nope. Immediately unplugged. I use lots of grow lights and have never had one do this. It's unfortunate, because I liked the style of this one. It is however a fire hazard. ... show more

These have proven to be very reliable. The timer works great. I have no worries about it turning on or off. I can adjust the light to what the plant needs. It is adjustable to meet the needs of the different size plants. I wouldn't use it for a tall plant, but they work great for my Christmas Cactus and Jade plants.
