Little sketchy, but what do you expect buying a cheap floor jack. At max height it will slowly lose a bit of pressure and lower about 0.5", and when lowering it drops pretty quickly. Definitely use good jack stands with good placement because it basically just drops the car. Otherwise it works great, very small and portable with enough lifting power to get a car off the ground reliably and get it on jackstands.

I bought this to replace an ancient floor jack of the same size. I am very impressed with the quality and lighter weight than the bulky standard of the past. The building materials make it just as heavy duty, strong and durable as the older jacks with smoother easier function. I also love the included carrying case. Great quality and value.

Bought for tools and case included. Jack is POOR fit in cheap plastic case and broke through during or before shipping. Handle fell apart as soon as I loosened locking collar to extend it and a few small balls fell out and disappeared in the rocky ground, without them the collar would not lock so handle is also worthless. Also, after buying a different handle and trying the jack, I find I really think very little of it (the jack) also. I am trashing it, don't even want to ship it back, not worth my time.

The jack works fine for removing tires from your car. The case is another story. Once you take the jack out and then try to put it back in it will not fit properly. The case will not close completely. The lat he's on the case are plastic and do not keep the case closed. But for the price it was worth it.
