I have had this barbell pad for almost exactly 2 years and within a couple months, one side of the Velcro strap ripped. I continued to use it anyway and it has held up well up until just now, I noticed today the other strap is starting to tear. I use this pad twice a week for hip thrusts, so I'd say I did get my money's worth out of it, but it is unfortunate that it tears so easily. As I said, it has still been functional, at least. I do not like this barbell pad for use on my back for things like good mornings and lunges. I feel that it is too thick and raises the bar too high for my preference, but as a hip thrust pad, it is great. It is very thick and does a relatively good job at not rolling or sliding. I'm considering buying again, though I may decide to try something different this time around. ... show more

Love bringing this with me on leg days. The black straps work well with keeping the pad on the bar and the pad is firm and actually protects my lower abdominal/pelvic area from bruising. Cute color and very durable.
