I recently had 6 of my grandchildren over for a sleepover. When bedtime came, my wife pulled out a foam mattress to pile kids on. The mattress was so bad that I would be ashamed to have it seen in my trash. The cover had big, ripped holes on both sides and stains all over both sides. I immediately searched Amazon for a new cover. When it arrived, I stripped off the old cover and installed the new waterproof cover. My shame has been hidden. My pride is restored. I purchased this waterproof zipper mattress pad because I got a puppy and needed to protect my mattress. It does keep the mattress dry, but it's much thinner than I anticipated. While it offers basic protection against spills and stains, it doesn’t have the sturdiness I was hoping for. I will just have to be careful not to rip it. I do like that it has a zipper which keeps it from coming off of the mattress when I move. Highly recommend for any size matters. I have queen and twin sizes. Fits perfectly and feels good. It is waterproof and saves the mattress from the regular wear and tear. Good for the price and very durable.

I’ve had some in the past that didn’t quite fit the mattress and ripped but these are great.
