You simply cannot find anything cooler in the world for $500. I was flying this thing all over the place like a pro in no time. The batteries will give you 15+ minutes of flight time if there is minimal wind. The video quality is pretty darn solid. If the quadcopter loses connectivity with the remote control in GPS mode, it will return to the exact spot from which it took off. I frequently demonstrate this to my friends by turning off the controller, and they are always left in a state of shock and awe. The amount of force generated by the propellers is simply stunning. I use it as a leaf blower for my driveway and sidewalks (seriously, not joking at all). It has crashed a few times (I let my friends fly it and they didn't listen to my advice) from considerable altitudes due to running into objects (trees, power lines, houses, etc.), and it still works perfectly. I would recommend calibrating it before first flight, but you could probably get by without calibrating. Be prepared for neighborhood kids, dogs, parents, etc. to come rushing over to you asking you what the heck it is that you just bought on Amazon. ... show more

The DJI Air 3S Combo was not available directly from DJI, but this vendor had them in stock! YEA!!! Great drone!!! The add-on Landing Pad is TOO SMALL. Ordered a larger one. The add-on Backpack is cheap, small junk!

Bought this drone as my first drone ever. I picked this one because it’s the same brand our Search and Rescue team uses. It’s amazing! Love the features. I’ll never maximize its potential, but I love it!

    • Unfunctional DJI Air 3 S Drone package
The package was VERY desirable!! BUT, had problems with the RC 2 Controller of that package!! Could not set up operation of said controller!! The system would not recognize the retry of the code sent from its site!!! Incredibly frustrating in multiple attempts to rectify!! Have returned whole unit to seller!! I purchased the DJI Air 3S through Koozam, but it cost approximately $600 more than at other DJI retailers. Retailer justifies this cost on additional items that are sold with the Air 3S. While the DJI items are of outstanding quality, the additional accessories included were cheap, junk, low-cost generic items. The backpack, in particular, is extremely poor quality. I was very disappointed with everything except for the Air 3S itself. I do not believe it is worth the extra cost if you can find the Air 3S elsewhere. On a positive note, Koozam did have the Air 3S in stock when many other retailers did not, and they were very quick to ship the product. ... show more

I had a 5 star experience from ordering to opening. This was purchased as a gift for someone who has experience flying RC helis but this is his first drone. Getting the bundle package was great since it came with an extra battery and propellers. The Go Pro set up can be and has been adapted to use a JVC Addixion instead which is an extra bonus. Note, to do this you have to use the mount from the Addixion chest harness. The FPV camera provides decent video, if a little wall-eyed. It's just fine for a first time video drone operator. Package arrived on time and in great condition. Can't complain about the price since it was on sale for Christmas. The recipient of this has said it was more than enough to get him into the whole streaming video drone business and is more then happy with this item. 1 month later, no crashes and the phantom 2 propellers fit the FC40 which help with the weight of the Addixion. ... show more

Happy with the Drone, but the seller/shipper hood winked me on delivery. It was supposed to be delivered in 2 days, and the storage bag and a few other items were, but the drone didn't show up for another week. a bit misleading I'd say.
