This thermostat has been working well for me so far. I bought it to use in my greenhouse and it's been keeping the temperature right around where I want it, just above freezing. You can see from the photo how consistent it is. The setup was pretty straightforward too; didn't have any trouble figuring out the different modes and settings. One thing that did confuse me a bit was trying to use both the thermostat plug function and the time function at the same time, but once I realized they couldn't be used together, no problem. The digital display is really nice, especially since it has a backlight so you can see it in the dark (which is useful when you're checking on things late at night). The cable is long enough for my setup too, which was another plus. I think this thermostat would work well for all sorts of applications, not just greenhouses. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable way to control temperature.

I use this device to keep an outdoor cat house (feral cats) warm. I use a ceramic heat emitter to warm the house, but if it runs constantly, the house will get up to 80 degrees (freezing outside). So, I placed this device on the power source and set it so that it comes on about 45 degrees and off at about 55 degrees. It's now been installed for about a week, and it's snowing outside. No matter when I check the temp in the house, it's always about 50 degrees, day and night. This device is cutting on and off perfectly and maintaining a perfect temperature. It was easy to set up, and I have not touched it since plugging it in. The only minor issue is that I can't figure out how to get it to reflect in Fahrenheit. This was a much cheaper solution, and much easier to set up and run, than any of the wifi based options that I originally looked into. I'm very happy with my purchase.

These things are awesome I have them in all my window AC units because the thermostats on them never work properly and these things I can set right down to the 10th of a degree and get the house right where I want it they work great !

I use this connected to an oil radiator heater in our RV to keep the temps just above freezing during the cold winder snaps. It is reasonably easy to setup, I wouldn't say it is fool-proof, it could be a little better but I've seen much worse in regards to configuration. The unit has a lead cable on the temperature sensor which I like, it allows me to place the sensor away from the heater or the walls for a more averaged air temperature in the RV. This unit has been reliable for us, it does just what I needed it for to keep our RV inside temps slightly above freezing without using too much power by acting as a much more accurate thermostat than the dial on the heater.

The media could not be loaded. The device does not work as expected or intended. When the current temperature is within the operating range, which you set with buttons, the device will power a fan -- as expected. So far, so good. But here's the problem. Even when the current temperature is *outside* the chosen operating range, the device still powers the fan. Logicially, it should not. Will try to attach 75-second video to demonstrate. Now it's possible that the button-settings are doing something that is just really counter-intuitive or unexpected. But that is simply not how consumer products should work. The goal is to make a device that is intuitive, where the logic is obvious. I did not try every possible configuration of settings to force the device to work as expected, and should not need to. When it lets power flow no matter what, when the current temp. is either inside OR outside the chosen operating range, the device has failed my expectations. I returned it. Cannot recommend.
