These work great for those odd things that normal locks won't work on. Corner cabinets for example, total pain, but these work great on them. Easy to install, I did have to clean up the spot these would stick on the cabinets well to get good adhesion, but once I got my cabinets cleaned (couldn't just do the one spot, could I?) I went over each spot with some rubbing alcohol. Once everything was dry, I stuck things in place and left them alone for a day. So far so good, the toddler has not been able to work out how to open the cabinet, and he has tried to see if he can pop them off by pushing hard on the one side, too smart for his own good, but these have held up to smarty pants. ... show more

The instructions for these locks aren't very good, but they are similar to other brands so you can find videos if you need to. I thought installation was somewhat challenging with the first one but went better for the rest. I was a little concerned with the locking parts because a few times they did not seem to extend into position freely. However, in practice, I seem to be able to always get the locks to latch so this wasn't actually a problem for me. This kit includes lock icon labels to put on your cabinet drawers so you can know where to put the magnet. Please use these labels. Trust me. ... show more

I was excited to find these cabinet child locks, and they did not disappoint! Installation was easy. No drilling. No screws. They are more attractive than others I have seen and used. They are easy for adults to open, but toddlers can't!
