The blanket is cute, the colors are vibrant and it holds up very well to my crazy dog jumping on and off of it 200 times a day. However, this thing sheds like there is no tomorrow. I am not one of those people that whines if they see so much as a piece of lint come off of a blanket or towels after I wash them. I fully expect these things to shed for a few washes but OMG, this is completely different. I have, no joke, washed this thing at least six times (color hasn’t faded so...there’s that) and every single time I have to wipe down the inside of my washing machine to pull out whatever fell off the blanket, then I shake it before putting it in the dryer to knock off more of it, THEN I put it in the dryer. Every. Single. Time. This thing has produced a baby version of itself in my lint trap, like it had never been washed before. Even me, who fully expects cheaper things to shed and isn’t bothered by it, was shocked at how much this little blanket sheds. As for the rest, the size is decent. It’s not very big and is absolutely for one person to use. It’s not soft either (even after several washes), but it’s not like sandpaper or anything. As I said before the colors are very rich and vibrant and it’s extremely cute and durable, especially if my dog has destroyed it yet. But this really is for decoration only and you shouldn’t buy it for actual blanket purposes. ... show more

I am super disappointed in this item. Taking it out of the package it was super scratchy and smelled odd. There’s an insert as well as a tag on the blanket that says to wash before first use. I washed and dried it per the instructions and it completely fell apart and left blanket shrapnel all over my washer and dryer. Terrible! The quality is one of the worst I have ever seen from amazon. This was supposed to go on my guest bed but I wouldn’t even force my cat to sleep on it. It’s scratchy and terrible quality. Save your money! ... show more

I used this for an outdoor Christmas photoshoot, and it worked perfectly for what I bought it for and is absolutely great value for the price. However, I would rather sleep under a thick pad of sandpaper than let this scratchy blanket touch any part of my skin! This makes a perfect picnic blanket. It's not very soft (but not scratchy either), the little bit of stiffness is great to use on the ground. Perfect size, not huge. Lightweight but feels very durable, looks nice and I spilled water on it and it beaded up almost like it was waterproff. Not fuzzy at all so you can easily shake crumbs off. This is not a soft and cuddly blanket but it also inst all that bad. I got it for my outdoor patio and it works great. It looks nice, doesn't smell funny, and if I want to take a nap it will do the job of covering me up. I am really pleased with this blanket I purchased! It is a very thick and nice knit quality and the smell of it! Don't get me started! If your from the Midwest, it smells like the covered bridge festival or the state fair, which is so perfect and cozy for fall and winter. I purchased this item to decorate with during the fall time and going into the winter season. This blanket is perfect for that and it can even be used during the spring and summer. This throw is fine if it’s just for decorative purposes, to add a bit of color to your space. I bought it to go on our guest bed, folded at the bottom, to add a pop of color to the bed to coordinate with other items in the room. It does look very nice there. If you’re looking for something to actually curl up under with a good book on a cool day, this may not be the blanket for you. It is thin and is a bit hard and scratchy, it has a rustic feel to it. Looks really nice but not soft on the skin. I was happy with mine but have noticed that my dachshunds have been up on the bed and I think their small nails have been making some loops stick out from the blanket, so I may either need to find something different, or ban the doxies from the bed, easier said than done! ... show more
