This is a perfect solution for my catbox which is in a dark area. As my cat is aging, I noticed some trepidation or accidents in and around the litter box usage. I thought of holiday lights, but what a pain, and they burn out. This did it! I can put a small wattage LED bulb, and not feel bad about leaving it on. Even better, put a timer on it, so it turns on in the eve, and save even more energy. It solved the issue, kitty seems to be much better at getting everything done, thank you!

Excellent quality, but the wires are permanently attached to the switch. So, when it was being installed we had to cut out the switch part, and replace it with another switch that could be wired in through the top of the hanging fixture. Which is if course the point, that it will be installed in a fixture without replacing the unit you just brought with yet more new parts. Good length solid wire, and on switch.

When all you really want is a light bulb at the end of a sturdy cord. This is one of the few dollar values available. Thanks for making it available. It also comes with stuff to hang it from. Too many of the other options tripled the price and the only difference is a plastic cage around the light, or a shield to block the light in a given direction.
