I received this product in October 2017 to use after speaking with Blackvue directly. I purchased it from HD Video Depot and they said I should not use another brand card and that is why I was receiving the errors I did on my unit. They said I must use Blackvue, I followed their guideline of reformatting the card every few weeks and the card worked for about 6 months until I pulled it out of my dashcam to copy a file over. When I put it back in my dashcam I reformatted the card and kept receiving the error "No SD card". I tried a different card which was Sandisk and the Sandisk card worked fine. I did not know the Blackvue card only had a 6 month warranty as it is not advertised anywhere and is hidden deep in Blackvue's website. When I called today HD Video Depot I spoke to Mike who said he was the Amazon supervisor. He told me that I am out of luck and there was nothing he could do. He was laughing while telling me this. He began to speak to me as a child and lectured me on the fact I should have called when it happened. I explained this is only a few weeks past the warranty and most manufacturers of memory cards offer a lifetime warranty. He then said "Now you are going to see the bad Michael" when I said I would post negative reviews of how HD video treated me. When I asked to speak to a manager or owner he said there was nobody else and the owner is usually traveling and was not available. After that he hung up the phone on me while I was still speaking! Is that how a retailer today treats there customers??? You only have one chance to make a great impression and this was the total opposite. There are so many other places to purchase from I don't think Michael understands that. If he worked for me I would fire him over that. I suggest you do not purchase anything through HD Video Depot no matter how many great reviews they have. It only takes one bad experience to change the opinion of even a loyal customer.

Took a chance on this. Half the reviews were satisfied while the other half received lemons. Unfortunately, I received a lemon. The BlackVue Dash cam was not able to read and neither was my PC. Several attempts to reformat the card failed. Worst of all, there was old footage on the card so it was obviously returned and sold as new... I ended up buying the: "Samsung 128GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSD EVO Select Memory Card with Adapter (MB-ME128GA/AM)." If you're using this for the BlackVue 900s, you can reformat using the dashcam by inserting into the dashcam and holding the WiFi button for 10 seconds followed by another 5 seconds.

I paid through the nose for a high quality, high endurance SD card for my BlackVue DR750S-2CH. I wanted this to be reliable, so after purchasing what I consider to be a best-of-breed dashcam, I wasn't going to cheap out on a low quality memory card since this is essentially the heart of the system. That it was labeled BlackVue was supposed to give me some confidence that it would be up to the rigors of this kind of application. I can't say I was impressed when, 14 months later, the card had given up the ghost. It decided it was read-only and nothing I can do will change that. So I've gone and had to purchase another brand of what is supposed to be a good quality card (Transcend) to replace this disappointment.

I don't know if the issue is caused by the memory card or the BlackVue camera, but I have the same issue many others have. The disk has become "write protected" and you can't erase any files, or format the disk with any method. BlackVue tells me that nothing in the camera can write protect the card. So IMO that means the camera and/or SD card are faulty. Pretty annoying considering I believed the marketing that they tested their cards to have superior longevity. If you haven't noticed, they cost 4-5x as much as any other similar SD card. Oh, the SUPER annoying part, is the issue occurred in October 2018. I just found out in March 2019 that my dash cam wasn't recording all winter. No error messages or anything, all the indicating lights looked normal, etc. The current firmware will tell you if you have a card failure, but it's kind of a pain to connect the dashcam wifi I stopped worrying about it. It had been working fine for 6 months prior no issues. Here is what they told me, "To be honest with you, we encounter a lot of this issue with regards to SD card and I regret to inform you that the only way is to have a sd card replacement. " Awesome. Fortunately I bought the extended warranty through Amazon/Asurion, so I should get reimbursed. I'm not certain what 3rd party cards will work, I tested a 128gb Patriot MicroSD card, which did not work. I have a 16gb blackvue card that I'm using for now. In my experience, 128gb will hold about 3-4 days, including recording stuff in parking mode. This is on a DR750S-2CH.

Product arrived on time, however, when sd card inserted into blackvue 750s to format card it was not detected. I removed card and tried on my desktop to format with blackvue viewer but even my desktop would not detect it. I tried several times and different USB ports and every now and then the PC would detect the card and you would see the blackvue folder appear and then the USB drive disappeared and could not access the sd card.

I bought this for my Blackvue DR650GW-2 as a last resort because EVERY other card I purchased didn't seem to stop the dashcam from randomly rebooting while driving. Although somewhat better on the rebooting issue, the Blackvue SD card has not stopped it completely. I've already spent a small fortune in SD cards and I'm ready to chuck the whole system out the window altogether. ***EDIT 7-1-18*** On a whim, I bought a new DC power cord for $20 as I had read in a review somewhere (I drove myself nuts reading EVERY review I could get my hands on) that his Blackvue Power Magic Pro turned out to be the issue. Once I disconnected my Power Magic Pro and hooked up the new cig power cord, my unit hasn't restarted even once. I now have a slew of high endurance micro SD cards but at least my unit is functioning as before.
