Description

Let's talk about some pants that are tough-as-nails. Dickies' Stretch double- front carpenter pants hit slightly below the waist with heavy-duty rivets on the front pockets. The brushed duck material is made from a cotton/spandex fabrication, keeping it durable, with enough stretch for comfort. Knee-pad openings on the front make working on your knees easy, while the utility pockets and hammer loop provide space for your necessities. The contoured waistband stretches to prevent any gapping in the back, while the stretch fabric provides must-have comfort.

I liked the dexterity of these pants, but they were loose around my waist. I wear a size 4 and that is what I ordered, but it has about 2 inches of fabric extra on it. Overall I like these pants for work but I do need to wear a belt. I would suggest maybe sizing down if possible. I’m not going to post a pic. The length has shrunk with washing/drying. I use my dryer on all my clothes because I am a lazy/normal person and do not care to make any extra effort for my laundry. If you aren’t like me, then the length should be fine for a while. They have withstood the friction of these thunder thighs, which if you have ever dealt with the crotch of your pants deteriorating due to general wear and friction, then you know this is big. The materials is not soft, I don’t use fabric softener, that might help. I typically wear mine, at work, twice in a week and they have held up really well since January (it’s May 1 now). I spend most of my time in office, but I wore them while climbing in and out of the back of a truck during snow removal earlier this year, no rips on the steps up and down. One pair of Carhartts I ordered around the same time ripped the other day in the crotch and I’m mad about it. I would recommend these pants fo sho. I put my weight and height on this review. I am 5’8” and my weight fluctuates A LOT, probably 5-15 pounds every couple days, but they fit well on my heavy and light days. If I’m bloated they are a little snug. Not too tight on the calf muscles at first (but like I said, I put those suckers in the dryer), little loose around the waist band if you worry about showing your butt crack (they’re still a little loose in the waist even after drying). I’d personally rather die than wear a belt every day, but that might solve that issue. ... show more
