  • I simply love this blade
Material Type: Blend
I bought this blade to replace one of it's long ago ancestors. The Diablo I replaced was north of a decade and maybe 2 decades old. It was still cutting but the it finally starting burning wood because I had never sharpened it. That was on me not the blade. The new blade reminded of why I love this line of blades. It cuts smooth and easy and leaves behind an almost polished surface. This blade cuts better than any other I've ever used. Even at it's low price point, IHMO it still easily compares with blades that cost 3,4 and 5 times as much. If I had bothered to sharpen it's predecessor as I should have, it would probably still be cutting extremely well. Thus far this blade is cutting as well as or better than it's predecessor. This blade is an amazing value and a great blade. ... show more

  • All I have to say is "wow!"
Material Type: Blend
This blade is FANTASTIC. I can't speak to its longevity unfortunately as I haven't had it long enough, but I can speak to its cutting ability, which is incredible. Honestly, this is the best blade I've used in any electric saw (table, miter, circular, track). It cut through maple plywood with NO tear out, which is ridiculous. Normally I'll tape the cut line with some painter's tape, but when I was squaring the edges I didn't use the tape and there was no difference - it was just as smooth and crisp. I've used other methods with other blades (tape, sandwiching other boards on top, making multiple passes) and this one blade on its own with no assistance was better than all of that. Will definitely be buying more in the future. ... show more

  • Diablo for the win
Material Type: Blend
These are my favorite blades, I've been running them in my circular saw, table saw, miter saw, saber saw, and Sawzall for years. my only complaint about this particular blade is you have to remember to swap it out when you're ripping. This blade will do it, but it's better suited for cross cutting.

  • Best saw blade that won't put you in the poor house
Material Type: Blend
Let me start off first by saying I am not a professional carpenter or wood worker by any stretch of the imagination, more like a hobbyist and that's stretching it a lot. I took wood shop in high school and that was 30 years ago. but I've tinkered over the years but in the last year or so I've been trying to get back into wood working, so I bought me a table saw and some other tools, andl I'm in the middle of making a project for my wife and I never give the saw blade that came with the saw much thought it was brand new and it felt sharp so I started using it, and I'm cutting red oak so it's a hard wood not super hard but it's not pine either and I noticed after about 10 maybe 15 cuts I was having to push a little harder and was getting light burn marks, so I started looking around for a new blade so I bought a dewalt blade it's a little better but I still wasn't impressed,so I started looking on wood worker forums and the general consensus was that the majority of people were using freud diablo blades.I didn't know a lot about freud but I knew enough to know that their blades were around 60 to 75 dollars and I was a tight wad and didn't want to spend that much on a blade. my attitude was literally how much better can one blade be over another just because of price. Well about a month ago I was surfing around on Amazon and came across a Freud blade and it was under 40 bucks so I got curious and started reading the reviews and they were talking about how sharp they were and how accurate they were and how long they lasted and how much quiter they were so I thought it's not much more than the dewalt blade I bought. I got it really fast as always with Amazon Prime shipping as soon as I got it I went to my shop and installed it and started making test cuts on some scrap and let me just say OMG Freud has a reputation for being one of the best blades on the market for a reason they earned it.. this blade was so sharp it cut through that scrap oak literally like a knief through butter the effort it took to push the wood through my saw was so much easier than it was with my stock blade even better than the dewalt. I can't attest to the longevity yet because I haven't had it very long but from what I've read you can sharpen this blade over and over I think you can even send it to freud and they will sharpen it don't know what that would cost but it would be worth it. And the last thing I noticed is the sound level this blade is so quite I couldn't believe it just with it spinning on the saw not cutting its so quite and when you're cutting it is so noticeably quite compared to a stock saw blade or one's of lesser expense. I was so impressed that I bought a 2nd Freud except the second one is for rip cuts. I could go on for a long time about this blade bottom line is you're getting a great quality blade for a really decent price it's sharp it's quite and most likely will last you twice as long as the cheaper ones will. I love this blade ... show more

  • Fast and clean cuts
Material Type: Blend
I bought this for my jobsite tablesaw. I am currently at the phase of building my own home where I have to saw my trim from the sawmill lumber my brother and I have sawn. I have had great service from Diablo blades on my handheld circular saws and I expected the same quality with this one. I was not disappointed. This blade cuts quickly and cleanly every time. I am not a professional carpenter but even I can see the difference between Diablo and generics. ... show more

  • Very smooth action on hardwood plywood
Material Type: Blend
I mostly use my table saw for breaking down sheet goods… so virtually every cut going through multiple grain directions. This blade makes quick, clean cuts.

Material Type: Blend
I use this for wood that I do not need extreme nice cuts. Better than big box store type blades. The fake laser cuts are a joke and misleading. I will buy again.
