TL; DR: Great desk for the price, just be careful when assembling. Easy overall. Assembled in an hour. The item arrived in perfect condition, no dings or imperfections, and all the pieces were there. I put this together in an hour and have had way worse experiences with Ikea stuff. There are a couple moments in assembly where you have to pay attention to what direction you’re putting things (as per usual), but the directions are reasonably easy to follow. Before I put the top on, I tested the mechanism since other reviews complained the circuit board was faulty. It’s easy to connect and mine worked great. It sounds a little stressed when it gets to the top of its motion, so we will see how long this lasts. It looks great and I didn’t get stressed out at all. Purchase with confidence. As long as the motor holds up, this will be one of the best values I’ve ever bought.

I purchased this in 2023 to add to my work space. It's affordable and does exactly what I need. It's now 2025 and the control unit stopped functioning. I contacted the manufacturer and within a week I had replacement parts free of charge. Looking forward to another couple years of productivity - would recommend.

It's perfect in my office, which I had 2 large monitors attached to an arm that is secured to the desk. Very sturdy, the adjustability was perfect. Instructions for assembly were pretty clear. This is a really nice standing desk. I wanted something with a sort of writing desk on the left since I am left handed. It works like a charm. The box is pretty heavy so you might need to have help getting it inside, but if you just open the top side of the box and it's laid out for easy assembly. One of my favorite parts of this assembly is that it comes together as you pull stuff out of the box. From the instructions this thing will life about 160 pounds, however, I don't know if that's true. I have a laptop, some papers and notebooks and a 24" monitor on mine, and while it moves smoothly, I don't know if I could get another monitor in it and feel good about that movement. That concern is based on the sound during a lift to standing, rather than anything else. It probably would be fine, but come on if you have over 160 pounds of stuff on your desk, you might need to reorganize some stuff. I like this desk, it's sturdy, it's comfortable, and it's one of the least expensive.
