It is possible I just got a set bad one or there is serious QC issues. I have to admit the package is nice and clean. it is not fancy but I really do not care for the cost. 1. It comes with a set soft lens caps. the object caps inner dimension measured around 52.7 mm (2.05 inch). Sunshade tube dimension is 50.8 mm (2inch). Scope object end dimension is 51.7 mm (2.03 inch). Therefore the lens cap will not stay attached. The eye piece has same issue. I did contact customer service for assistance, the solution given being by removing flip up caps before shooting. May be just me, but then why I need a flip up caps. 2. Though I like the reticle but lens itself is foggy. It is possible my old eye sight or something else. I have just return it and planning to order one from different vendor. hope this help. ... show more

This review is about the 6-24x50 model. _Pros_ 1. High magnification for the money. With caveats...see below. 2. Mildot type reticle - generous number of hash marks for holdover and windage compensation 3. Attractive and well built - fit and finish are quite good for the money, turrets respond with positive clicks and no perceptible slop 4. Accessories galore - includes both Picatinny and dovetail scope rings, a spirit level, and sunshade _Cons_ 1. Cloudy at high magnification - becomes so cloudy at full 24x magnification that it's actually easier see holes on paper after backing the magnification down to 18x. 2. Not a side focus - product description says "side focus (SF) design allows for quick parallax adjustment" but it has a more conventional and less convenient front focus objective lens 3. Very sensitive eye relief. Have to position your eye very carefully to get a decent sight picture, more than other sub-$100 scopes I've used. BOTTOM LINE For the price, the poor clarity at high magnification is not disqualifying from my perspective. It's still quite useful at 16x magnification, and that's plenty for 99% of how I will use it. I'm most disappointed by the lack of side focus. It seemed too good to be true, and it was. If it had been side focus, I would've felt compelled to turn around and buy another one. ... show more
