A fairly priced tool. The exact same tool as the rental would be. Do not use an impact with these tools. Just use a 1/2" ratchet, and the press will last for years.

I used this for changing out U joints on my Kawasaki Mule (which is a pain). It worked well for the job. It may be less quality than high dollar tools, but it was quite excellent and I would buy again in same situation.

For the home owner and diy this is fine. If you need to use your tools to make a living this is not it. The tool did it’s job. I used it to press out 5 u joints on my trucks drive shafts. There is significant wear on the tool. I wish the set came with one smaller cup to use on yokes. I had to use a socket because the cups were too big to sit fully on the yoke of my drive shafts. The screw has a little slop in the tooling making the screw walk around a little when tightening. The head of the screw mushroomed a little. The screw shaft is pretty worn as well. The tool is fine for the once and a while use and for the money. I couldn’t take my drive shaft to a shop and have this done for the cost of the tool and parts. So it saved me a lot of money. If you do this everyday would go with a name brand, but this worked great for me. ... show more

Does the job well. Used a few times already with replacement of front end bushings and if course ball joints. I'd say most vehitwill need your make specific adapters to work perfectly because our Honda/Acuras needed adapters. Lemme give you a tip- buy copper anti seize and put it on all your press threading. Will reduce wear substantially as well as apply more torque without galling. Anti seize saves tools and parts and attachment pieces. ... show more

For a small car with light-duty parts would probably work well but on a heavy duty truck like a 3500 c clamp bends. Had to get a rental for the bigger ones but it worked well for the little ones
