At first I was a little skepticle about Nakiri knives expecially given the high cost for many of the brands. I decided to try the DFITO based on the price. I could not have been more surprised on the quality and the cutting ability of this knife. It has become our favorite knife to use when preparing hard to cut foods (like hard cheese) and for chopping vegetables into fine bits. It is not heavy yet it performs as good as a cleaver knife for cutting thru hard items and at the same time makes easy work of chopping up vegetables since you can grasp it with both hands, one on the blade and the other on the handle. ... show more
