There are three functions on this pot: keep warm, low heat, and high heat. I noticed it boils water faster than my stove which is great. I use the steamer attachment to steams veggies and dumplings and it works amazing as well.

Large enough to saute, boil, simmer for 1 or 2 people. Eliminates several pots/pans since I live and travel all over the USA in my converted cargo van. It comes with a steamer, so while food simmers in the pot, veggies can be steamed above the food with the lid on to conserve the moisture for steaming. I timed a pot of water from cold to boiling, it took less than 4 minutes. At 600 Watts on high temp it saves on my solar power usage as well. In a regular home or tiny home it saves on space, power usage, etc. Highly recommend this pot. I may order an extra - just in case.
