2 heat levels, 500W and 1000W. In my case, the fairly thin bottom works well, so I don’t use much power heating up a thick pan using my portable power station while camping. “ Cooks quick, but doesn’t stick.!” So far the nonstick has not scratched and literally rinses out. It’s not the quality of my hundred dollar pan but if you take care of it and use the spray oil even eggs don’t stick. My only negative, In my case, steaming the healthy flash frozen vegetables the steamer slots are a little too large but functional. I should’ve bought another one instead of what is now two different so-called adjustable electric heating elements.

Heats up nice and quick, outside can get hot but not too hot that you will burn your countertop (i still put it on a silicone mat). However the only thing I noticed that I have not seen on other reviews is that when plugged in and turned on one spot of the handle gets very hot as if there is a hot coil there and burned me slightly. I don’t know if that means it’s defective but it’s not burning through the plastic and there’s not burning smell. Otherwise I like it!

UPDATE: After my original 2 star review, the company contacted me and offered a full refund. I responded I would like a refund and I thought, "Wow! That is great customer service." HOWEVER, after my response they contacted me again advising they needed a photo to refund my money. Of course I had already thrown the product in the trash. There was no point in keeping around an item that did not work. SO... now I'm taking a star away as I feel customer service is not good either. That photo would not have shown them anything. The pan outwardly looked just like it did the day I received it. SO, now I know I will never purchase another Dezin product and WARNING: if you do choose to purchase and product quits working, take a picture before throwing it out... maybe you'll get your money back, although I'm guessing they will find some other excuse to deny the refund. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this pan about six months ago. I have used probably 20 times and it will no longer heat up! $35 is a lot of money to spend on an item that will only work a handful of times. I doubt I will ever buy another Dezin product! Buy at your own risk!!!

This one is two temps. The low temp cooks like a high temp on stove. I have to turn off during cooking so as not to burn. Pick one with more heat choices
