UPDATE: Last night I caught a monster Bull Red, the thick scales are still rough to get through. The Knife is still stiff enough to work past them. Holding up with me here in Florida cleaned quite a few pompano so far and its been great, could take or leave the serated edge but I have used it. Can't wait to put it to the test on some big Snappers and Mahi. If most your fish are less than 10lb I'd say go with the smaller blade I'll be grabbing a 6" soon. ... show more

I searched all over.. bought a few other blades and finally settled on the 8" Medium Flex Blade.. I cut ALOT of fish and the convenience of one blade is nice.. The 8" blade is both large and small enough to do every size fish from crappie to yellowfin...

Overall not bad. I like the serrated blade on the tip. Cuts through scales like butter! The only thing that I didn’t like was that it seemed a little stiff for filleting the skin off.

    • Great Idea, But will Cut You
The knife is good. No issues. The huge fault is the idea of serrated edge. I work with my knuckles very close to the spine of the blade when starting into a fish. You will accidentally cut your knuckles every other fish.
