    • What a fantastic saw, but BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE Update Oct 2023
I should have switched to a 12" saw years ago. It's so big you don't need the travel action that smaller saws have, and it cuts like butter through just about anything you can throw at it. Big enough to possibly handle a 2x8 and/or a 4x4 (I haven't tried them yet, so I don't know but I'm fairly certain), and the tilt functionality is very easy to use and has great accuracy. The XPS light is a god send, too. It makes precision cuts sooooo much easier, and it's always accurate because it's using the blade itself as the reference. the fact that a standard 2x4 is the perfect height to add for workpiece support to make it level is also a bonus. The goggles are very uncomfortable, but as it was an addon item, I didn't let it affect my rating of the tool itself. Update: after 6 months the bearings wore out and it doesn't even spin the blade anymore. Good luck getting support for it if buying on here. Contacted their support center, gave them all the information, and they told me to either get it to a service center, when the nearest one is more than 3 hours away driving, or send it in using their online service system, which this isn't eligible for because it's a miter saw. I told them as much, and haven't heard anything further. I don't think I'm going to get any further help from them, and it's a darn shame, because I haven't had problems with their products before. Update 2: Finally got contacted by support with a shipping label for it. It took a while (3 weeks, I think) but got the saw back from repair and it works fantastic again. ... show more

It’s extremely precise and easy to use. It’s a miter and swevel saw which is very helpful.
