Description

The SKIL TS6307-00 10" Jobsite Table Saw has a 25-1/2” (64.77cm) Rip Capacity and is equipped with a 15-Amp motor, integrated foldable legs, rack & pinion fence rails, and a dust port elbow to keep your jobsite clean. The 15-Amp motor quickly rips through hardwoods with ease, while the rack & pinion fence rails make fence adjustments fast, smooth, and accurate. With its 0-45° bevel capacity, the quick release lever allows for cuts between two positive stops at 0 and 45 degrees, and its 4x4 cutting capacity allows for swift 90-degree cutting. The integrated foldable legs seamlessly form into a folding stand to provide portability and convenience, while the dust port elbow systematically redirects dust to a container for easy cleanup. The parallel blade alignment allows for ease of blade adjustment along the rip fence and miter slot, for precise accurate cuts. This table saw features a safety anti-restart switch in case of power outages. This large coated cast aluminum tabletop saw comes equipped with a 10” 24-tooth carbide blade. When using a dado insert, this table saw requires an 8 in. dado blade set.

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like Thor but with slightly more precision and a lot more sawdust, the SKIL 10” Table Saw is here to grant your wish. This beast comes loaded with features that make cutting wood feel less like a chore and more like a magic trick (minus the rabbit). First up, the rack and pinion fence rails. Translation: the fence actually stays straight, unlike that cousin who swore he’d “eyeball it” and now has a bookshelf that leans like it’s auditioning for Pisa. This thing glides smoother than butter on a hot pancake. Then there’s the integrated folding stand. The legs fold up so quickly you’d think they were dodging child support payments. One second it’s a rock-solid workbench, the next it’s folded away and stored like it was never there. Great for garages that are already packed with “someday projects.” Parallel blade alignment is another gem. You can micro-adjust the blade so it lines up perfectly, which means no more swearing at lumber that somehow has a mind of its own. Your cuts will be straighter than your grandpa’s opinion on politics. Speaking of cuts, the 4x4 cutting capacity means this saw will happily chew through lumber like a hungry beaver at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Add in the 2–47° bevel capacity, and suddenly you’re not just cutting wood—you’re crafting “artisan angles” your neighbor will be jealous of. Oh, and the dust port elbow? Genius. Instead of sneezing through a fog of sawdust and questioning your life choices, this little feature politely escorts the mess straight into a container.     • Good, inexpensive, capably powered
Style: 10" Table Saw
Good saw with plenty of power, especially when paired with a good blade. I've been able to get nice, accurate cuts and easily build a couple of things in the few short weeks I've owned this. Right out of the box everything was in true and I've not had to make any adjustments to the alignment. Additionally, I like the size and weight. I wavered between this and the Dewalt model (twice as much), but the Dewalt is appreciably bigger while this saw fits fairly well on a shelf in my garage. No issues with the sturdiness. It doesn't move or wobble when I use it but I can still lug it from one side of the garage to the other without throwing my back out. There are obviously bigger, better table saws out there, but for less than $350, this is a steal and fits the bill for 95% of the projects I'll need to do. You will probably want to upgrade the miter gauge asap to something better. The included miter gauge is just awful. The fence isn't all that much better, but isn't nearly as bad as the miter gauge. ... show more

easy to set up; functions perfectly; does not impinge on feed. You can set up or take down this saw in 2 minutes or less. Oh, and the fence control is smooth and accurate! SOOOO easy to change and verify measurement for subsequent cuts. It's heavier than the saw I replaced, but the carry handle is convenient, and allows short distance carry even with all the accessories stowed. Haven't used the miter yet, but if it's slightly loose (as many are), that can be remedied if necessary with aluminum tape. Some folks complained of the noise of this saw, but I found it was no more noisy than my old model, and in fact probably quieter. (I've always used ear plugs AND muffs.) In short, you could spend more on a table saw, but I seriously doubt you would be any happier than with this one. ... show more

    • Absolutely amazing for the price but messy

I needed something for cutting acrylic sheets for display cases I'm making for Lego sets. Since purchasing cases is just a ridiculous expense, I figured it's cheaper to just make them. This arrived, but part was damaged in shipping, despite no damage to the box. But it must have shifted somehow, so one of the brackets on the auxiliary fence was bent, and it couldn't fold over into the out of the way position. I already had registered this for the warranty, so when I called, they asked for the part on the IPB in the manual, said OK, and three days later it is already out for delivery. The entire auxiliary fence piece, not just the one bent bracket. So their support is outstanding. This is a delight to work with. Setup is a breeze with the legs unfolding. I replaced the blade with one specifically designed for acrylic, and the performance has been outstanding. The options for adjustments are far more than I'll ever need. And the stability of the platform, despite being a portable one, is great. No movement once I start cutting, the table stays steady on these foldable legs. Even with the shop vac connected to the discharge, though, it's an absolute MESS of dust. I had to throw away the pair of pants I was wearing the first time I tried this out since it was just so covered with tiny plexiglass dust, there was no way it was ever going to come clean. I have some cardboard I've since placed around the legs to block it from getting everywhere, since most of the mess was coming from underneath, and that will help. I may end up looking at some of the youtube videos to create my own dust collection unit for the blade as well. Meanwhile I've purchased some wet gear to throw over my clothes like I'm going to go fishing, so any dust can be brushed off easily from the slick surface. But aside from that, the results are great. No problems moving things through the blade. I like the safety shutoff option so it won't come back on if power is interrupted and you don't have the material still being held. Not sure if the anti kickback tool would really help on acrylic either, but so far everything has moved through just smoothly. Got it on sale, so there is no way to possibly beat the value for the price. ... show more
