Description

The SKIL TS6307-00 10" Jobsite Table Saw has a 25-1/2” (64.77cm) Rip Capacity and is equipped with a 15-Amp motor, integrated foldable legs, rack & pinion fence rails, and a dust port elbow to keep your jobsite clean. The 15-Amp motor quickly rips through hardwoods with ease, while the rack & pinion fence rails make fence adjustments fast, smooth, and accurate. With its 0-45° bevel capacity, the quick release lever allows for cuts between two positive stops at 0 and 45 degrees, and its 4x4 cutting capacity allows for swift 90-degree cutting. The integrated foldable legs seamlessly form into a folding stand to provide portability and convenience, while the dust port elbow systematically redirects dust to a container for easy cleanup. The parallel blade alignment allows for ease of blade adjustment along the rip fence and miter slot, for precise accurate cuts. This table saw features a safety anti-restart switch in case of power outages. This large coated cast aluminum tabletop saw comes equipped with a 10” 24-tooth carbide blade. When using a dado insert, this table saw requires an 8 in. dado blade set.

I was shopping around for the best table saw with the budget I had at the end of last year. This particular table saw had a good rating for a budget table. It is worth mentioning that this is the first table saw that I have purchased and used. This was priced at $279 at the time of order. Even at the current price of $329 this is still a good buy. Initially I was not expecting too much out of this table but I have been very impressed with it. The legs are very sturdy and there is a way to get the table level on the ground with the feature of the foot clamp at the bottom of one of the legs as shown in my picture. This table comes with a 10" 24T blade so this can be used right out of the box. Setting this table up was okay except as I mentioned earlier I have no experience so I did have a little trouble with regards to fitting the blade and guard. The instructions are comprehensive but I would say the diagrams are not really as clear as they should be and there was missing information (for example) as to where to locate the blade wrenches, I couldn't find any mention of the location anywhere in the instructions. It took me a while to locate the blade wrenches, I eventually found them underneath the table, I have included a picture of this for reference. Also included in my pictures are photos of the accessories which all have a storage space which makes this table neat and compact. I found that this table saw cuts well and the rip fence was easy to position and use. As with all tools I do believe with some care this table will last a while. This is a great table saw for beginners or to use on home projects. In my opinion this is worth the investment and overall I believe this deserves a full 5 star rating. **NOTE: The blade wrenches are already attached to the table underneath as shown in my picture.** ... show more

Good saw with plenty of power, especially when paired with a good blade. I've been able to get nice, accurate cuts and easily build a couple of things in the few short weeks I've owned this. Right out of the box everything was in true and I've not had to make any adjustments to the alignment. Additionally, I like the size and weight. I wavered between this and the Dewalt model (twice as much), but the Dewalt is appreciably bigger while this saw fits fairly well on a shelf in my garage. No issues with the sturdiness. It doesn't move or wobble when I use it but I can still lug it from one side of the garage to the other without throwing my back out. There are obviously bigger, better table saws out there, but for less than $350, this is a steal and fits the bill for 95% of the projects I'll need to do. You will probably want to upgrade the miter gauge asap to something better. The included miter gauge is just awful. The fence isn't all that much better, but isn't nearly as bad as the miter gauge. ... show more

I have a DeWalt table saw that I purchased about 10 years ago that I absolutely love. It has a rack and pinion fence, built in fence ruler, lots of on board storage and just works great. I love using this saw. The only issue with it is that it wasn't cheap so when I needed another saw for our cottage out of state I was reluctant to spring for a second one. I started looking at all the low end saws and found this Skil saw. It was a little more (about $70) than the bare bones table saws but it to had all the features of my DeWalt that makes it such a pleasure to use. The rack and pinion fence alone makes it worth the additional money. No need to pull out your tape measure to measure the distance from the blade to the fence for each cut and to verify that the fence is perfectly parallel to the blade. Simply turn the knob to the desired cut distance using the built in ruler. lock the handle down and you are ready to go. The rack and pinion fence guarantees you'll get a square cut each and every time you change it. In addition to this all the various components of the saw store on board in their respective slots. The saw is equipped with a powerful 15 amp motor so stalling the blade is never a concern and the dust collection/port works great with a vacuum cleaner. Skil took the time to bake in all the positives of the DeWalt saws only they managed to keep the price low. Overall I'd rate this as the best value for your money saw on the market today. ... show more

Opening the box of the SKIL 10-inch table saw was a breeze, and within minutes, I had it set up and ready to go. One thing I really appreciated was the folding stand, making it easy to move around and store when not in use. The saw itself worked great for my DIY projects around the house, from cutting plywood to crafting wooden shelves. The included accessories were a nice touch and added to the overall value. However, the dust collection system could be better; I found myself cleaning up more sawdust than I would have liked after each use. Nonetheless, it's a handy tool for any homeowner or hobbyist.
