These little paddle grinders are like my best friend. I have two of them. They are also bulletproof, One I've had for several years and this one I've had for a few months. They work perfectly every time and there's nothing to worry about breaking on them, except maybe the wheel if you get careless. Not all Dewalt tools are made in the USA anymore. Some are even made in China. But let me say that the quality you would expect from Dewalt is still there. China has gotten much better at making things and things they are making these days tend to be more durable and precise than what they made in the past. This grinder brought back memories of what it was like working with quality tools. To be sure, there are times a man needs to favor economy -- but if you stay there for too long, you just might end up forgetting what quality feels like altogether.

I have several of this model angle grinder all made in USA. This recent purchase is made in India. It still is in my opinion the best angle grinder for the money. Lightweight, easy to operate. Wished it was still made in USA is my only complaint.

This is a tool that works, and is easy to work with. I like using an allen wrench to change the wheel. It makes me wonder why the rest of the industry isn't doing the same thing, instead of designing a special use tool that is difficult to work with and easily wears out..

I would buy again. This is my new favorite toy. I have a wet saw but that can be a pain to set up in winter. I purchased a DEWALT DW4765 4-1/2-Inch by .060-Inch Porclean Tile Blade Wet/Dry, so I could cut tile (glass and porcelain), worked perfectly.

My favorite grinder of the herd. I have Grinders starting from 1000 RPM and 4.5 A, up to this one. And I'm here to tell you that RPM and Amperage are very nice to have. This is probably the most I need though, because the units DO get heavier. I find this to be the perfect balance between power, cost and weight. Love this tool. ... show more
