I have been having issues finding jeans that fit comfortably after having a baby. These were great fit! The spandex waist line makes it comfortable to wear and the material is soft and stretchy. The style is also good to wear with anything. Boots, sneakers, sandles, T-shirt, tank top.

I like these jeans and all the Democracy brand jeans I've owned. I own this pair in multiple colors/washes. They're super comfy, particularly at the waistband, but they're much slower to get baggy (like at the knees or bum) as you wear them than other stretchy jeans I own. A note on sizing- Amazon's pants size recommendations are usually pretty accurate for me, but for these jeans they suggest a size 8 and I've found the size 6 to fit very well. In general, I usually wear a 6 (or 28-29) on average in pants. My actual waist measurement is about 30" and my hip is 40"-41". I'm 5'2", about 140 lbs and relatively muscle-y in the thigh and calf. I'd say I have (sadly) only a modest amount of bum. For those that sew and/or know a bit about tailoring- like many people, I have to do sway-back adjustments on patterns. For ready to wear clothing, it's hard to find pants where the front rise isn't both too long and too shallowly cut, which creates that unattractive sag-fold-thingy at the front crotch. I've found democracy jeans to fit better in that regard than other brands. ... show more

It does flatten the belly really well and is flattering. I am not fond of the thick elastic waistband but am getting more used to it. I guess I didn’t really need the assistance in the booty area because these make it look huge lol. I am hoping to find a pair with the mesh panels in front but with a normal waistband and no rear enhancements. They are true to size but very stretchy so if you want a snug fit or are losing weight, size down. ... show more

I cant say enough about democracy jeans! These are the only jeans that make me feel 100% confident! The waistband is amazing. I feel supported when I’m wearing them. In most jeans I wear a size 8 or 10 depending on the fit/style. My first pair of democracy jeans i went with a size 8 and i loved them! Then i decided to try a size smaller and now im obsessed! I haven’t been a size 6 in years but these jeans have good stretch and they jold there shape very well. Id definitely say size down. Sometimes i buy an 8 and a 6 because they both fit well but lately Ive been sticking with the smaller size and they’re a smidge tight the first time i try them on but after an hour or two they are perfect! And since I sized down they dont get all stretched out as the day goes on. They really are the perfect jeans for anyone who hates how other jeans feel on your waist. Democracy jeans are my favorite. I have these in ble & they're perfect! I received this gray/yellow camo pair today. They're very cute, but the sizing is a lot tighter & less stretchy than the denim.
