  • Dewalt 68,000 BTU Cordless Propane Heater
I love this heater. I run the Dewalt battery platform, so I have plenty of batteries. I use an 8ah battery and I would say It will last most of the day. Outside temp in the teens. I use this heater in my shop and my tool trailer. My shop is about 450 Square Feet. My shop is insulated so it retains heat really well. On the really cold days I would run the heater to heat up the space to 65 degrees, and it would take about 5 to 10 minutes to reach that temp. I have an electric heater in the shop, so the temp never gets below 50 degrees. Then I would need to turn it on every 20 to 30 minutes and repeat the cycle. I wanted a heater that was cordless and this is working great. The one thing that surprised me is how efficient the burn for the propane. No fumes that you get sometime when you use these types of heaters. Too bad it does not have a thermostat. I use it in my tool trailer on the low setting, and I run it for a couple minutes max. Nice and toasty. Highly recommend. If you can get it on sale that would be the best. It is a little pricey. ... show more

  • Best heater yet for my barn
So far works great ..I run it mostly on low in my horse barn...it heats well with very little odor or noise. If it is turned up to high the noise is a little much for the horses. Conservative fuel consumption. It always starts right up and stays on!

  • Works great, would buy again.
Love this heater. Took me a while to figure it out at first, couldn’t get it started. Once I got it to work the first time I haven’t had any trouble with it. Heats my garage great and able to plug it in or run off a battery is awesome. I’m a big fan of Dewalt!! Built to last.

  • Very good unit.
Just received the 25k to 68k heater. hooked up and started easily. Heated my 2 car garage from 32 degrees to 48 in about an hour. part time on low and then on high. Quite quiet on low but a little noisy on high. Plan to use it on high for initial warmup and then on low to maintain.

  • Best Darn Heater!
I see the reviews I was skeptical with all the bad reviews. Just bought another one and prob gonna buy another two! It’s difficult to start on -20 fahrenheit degree days. Sometimes you gotta crank closed the propane tank just barely for it to kick on or let it heat up for a bit with the low heat mode which doesn’t sound like a jet engine. Then turn off the power button and double tap and hold the ignition for it to turn on. Do this Over and over again until it sounds like a jet engine! On low a 20lbs tank will last 2 1/2 days from 5am-4:30pm. Now I included a photo to show the kinda room I work in on Some days and It has lots of holes in the walls but within 2 hours the temp inside is 25 degrees and outside is -20 to -30 with wind blowing 40mph. If you work in the winter your usually geared up with warm clothes so don’t expect 70 degrees 🤣 it’s so darn portable especially underground lol, I use 9 amp batteries and it’ll last for 1.5 days which is also awesome. On high heat it’ll last 4 hours lol. Best darn heater, obviously the bad reviews are from people whom don’t know the difference between their ass and their elbow. But for the serious workforce it’s a game changer! Hope this helps. Also this seller gets the heater to you within days! ... show more
