Description

The DCM200B 20V MAX XR 18in Bandfile (Tool Only) provides More Power Than Pneumatic for tough commercial applications rotating up to 5,600 Ft/Min with 732 MWO. This power is controlled with a variable speed trigger and speed setting dial. A 104° Rotating Contact Arm enables the user to take full advantage of the portability and versatility and to access hard to reach spaces. Coupled with a Rotating LED to help illuminate the workspace and tool- free belt change the DCM200 provides user convenience, mobility and versatility. Lastly, the DCM200 18in Bandfile utilizes DEWALT's 20V MAX system, it joins 300+ products in the 20V MAX line, each engineered to meet the specific needs of demanding trades. Based on MWO, using DCBP034 battery (sold separately) vs. pneumatic-powered Dynabrade Dynafile 14000, 14010 Abrasive Belt Tools. Tool is great.... Used it for several different things that i did not expect. Word of advice for the belts. use the 3M belts... they last a long time and the heat from use does not cause the belt to fail. The belts are super easy to change. this is way better than an air powered one.

Another great tool that I use more than anticipated. I have used mostly for removing the inside of tube welds, but is useful for a lot of tight locations. It does use up even high cost belts quickly, but gets the job done. belt change is easy.

Holy cow I love this thing! I service all kinds of commercial doors in hospitals and office buildings and there are a lot of times when you need to grind down some metal or wood and this thing makes quick work of that especially with a good course belt on it. And yes, it grinds down metal really fast. Seriously I absolutely love this thing. I’ve been using it a lot and it makes things so much easier. It’s so much faster. Tool perform exceptionally. I’m a Union carpenter, doing hardware these tool is perfect for shaving those 1/16 from the lock strike plate to get the lock to engage when the door/ door frame isn’t 100% (example of working after someone who doesn’t care) this is really the only use I’ve done with this sander other than sharpening a few dull tools. One of the greatest tools ever invented. I work in a bodyshop and use these tools almost every day. After I found out dewalt made thse I had to try it and I won't use the pneumatic one again I think. I have been using my own as well as the bosses he brought first for months now without any issues. We usually use them for panel removal getting spot welds detached but once you have it you find so many uses for it. I have used it to enlargen a 4 inch hole for a vent on my deer stand because the hole saw was a smidgen too small, used it to shape foam board insulation for the same stand, sharpen my axe and machete, shape chainsaw file handles, clean up cuts and my aunt and uncles deck stairs we remodeled I could go all day. You won't regret buying one of these. You definitely need at least 4ah batteries though ... show more
