Description

Circular Saw is designed to make accurate cuts quickly. With a blade oriented to the right of the motor and a top handle position design, this circular saw is built for ease-of-use on challenging jobsites. This saw comes equipped with an electronic brake that helps stop the blade when the trigger is released. This durable, high- performance circular saw provides smooth, accurate cuts and a bevel capacity of 57° with stops at 45° and 22.5°. Battery and charger sold separately.

The DEWALT 20V MAX XR 7-1/4" Brushless Cordless Circular Saw has been an excellent purchase. For the money, I think it's one of the best cordless circular saws you can buy. It has plenty of power, cuts cleanly, and the battery life has been more than enough for all of my DIY and home projects. I'm not a professional contractor, so I don't need the most expensive, top-of-the-line saw on the market. There may be better options for someone who uses a saw every day for work, but for homeowners and weekend projects, this one is hard to beat. This is a good saw only issue i have is battery doesn't last long. I am buying a bigger battery to get more cutting time. Love dewalt tools. Used to be craftsman tool guy but unfortunately they are very low quality.

Very good product from dewalt. But Amazon took out the tool to place it in one of there boxes. They didn't put blade and wrench inside new box. But I called Dewalt customer service and was sent blade and blade wrench.

What can I say, it does what I need it to do, when I need it to, actually surprised me with the strength. Not too heavy. This is a saw you cannot expect to make a full days work on one battery, but it does seem to work a good while, even on the “knock off” dewalt batteries. Best money for a saw that I have spent, and almost the same price as a good wired hand saw ... show more

    • Buyer Beware: Missing Blade and Generic Packaging!

Buyers Beware! The circular saw I received did not come in the original DeWalt packaging. Instead, it arrived shrink-wrapped in a plain generic box without manuals or anything else. Even worse, the saw blade that was advertised as being included with this model was missing. I contacted DeWalt customer support and was told that this seller is not an authorized DeWalt retailer. Between the missing blade, the generic packaging, and the seller’s unauthorized status, I have no confidence that I received a genuine, factory-new product. What frustrates me the most is that Amazon allows listings like this to remain on its marketplace. Customers trust Amazon to provide a safe shopping experience, yet I ended up receiving an incomplete product from a seller that DeWalt does not recognize as an authorized retailer. I am returning it and will be purchasing from Home Depot or Lowe’s instead, even if it costs a little more. Saving a few dollars isn’t worth the risk. In my opinion, this experience was a ripoff, and I hope this review helps other buyers avoid the same mistake. ... show more

It works great, however, I seem to have gotten it in a "Like New" condition, which is kind of disappointing. It looks like there are some scuffs and scratches, like some one may have used it briefly. Unless it happened at the factory or shipping. I used this specific model once on a job site (I borrowed it briefly), and I was actually very surprised by how fast and clean it cut. So I looked into it more, and bought this and an impact, and some powerstack batteries for future use. I don't think you will get a better price on this specific model unless you find some type of great sale (the bundles at the hardware stores usually include the slightly wimpier version of the tool, sadly). ... show more
