    • Who would want to sit like that?
These are a terrible design. When ordering I thought I could choose to recline the feet or recline the back, but you have to do both, essentially making you lay at this awkward angle. Plus you have to hold the handle to open or close the chair, my arms are not that long. And cushions that are for comfort, make it all worse. The recline mechanism is weak and seems to be 1 piece so you can feel one corner recline more than the other and if you recline all the way, you feel like you'll tip over, if you have someone stand/get up from one chair, you'll feel it in both ... show more

This thing is beautiful but it was a little tricky to get put together. The instructions have pictures and there is a little writing to explain things but there are no quantities listed on the instructions, as far as hardware to use. There was a lot of hardware left over so I guess that's a plus. It definitely makes you wonder if you missed something though haha the center consol is very nice and spacious. The only thing I don't really like is that the foot rests don't fully go parallel to the ground. That's just a little thing though, not a deal breaker for me. Overall, great quality! The cushions could be a little more plush but, again, not a deal breaker for me. I can easily replace them with something better, in time. The packaging is very very VERY good and definitely stopped anything from getting broken during shipment. Just be aware that literally everything is wrapped in a mountain of plastic wrap. Don't dare buy this unless you know what you're doing. The assembly instructions were apparently written by a third grader with an unsharpened crayon. If the instructions were printed on letter size paper instead of 5" x 7" paper that might have helped as well. I had to break out the magnifying glass in order for my old eyes to be able to see the diagrams clearly. I began by following the instructions as best I could, but became so frustrated that I just tossed them after step 5 and figured it out myself. Once it was together (after 4 hours) we found it to be very sturdy and quite comfortable. If you struggle at all with simple IKEA products this is not the product for you! You definitely need some mechanical/engineering aptitude to put this thing together. If they improved the instructions significantly I would definitely have given this 5 stars as it is quite good once assembled. ... show more

The assembly of this set kind of reminded me of a pretty advanced Lego set. It was an enjoyable build though haha. The quality of the material is terrific and the touch + feel of it is great.

You'd think for the price, you'd get more than 2 inches of cushion to sit on. Spend the extra money and get something comfortable 😌
