I bough this to use in a small table in my den as a test bed for my boat. I love it! It works just as expected the USB - C is true USB - C with high amp charging. The USB is a bit lose but works just fine with all my cords. The hole required is large, I used a router to cut the hole, I didn’t have a large enough hole saw. I thought about flush mounting but I was worried about the possibility of spills, so I surfaced mounted mine. The screw bezel works very well and once hand tight it holds the outlets firmly in the table. My table is a little over an inch thick and there is plenty of room for more depth. For those needing it, this draws 0.3 watts without anything connected to it for charging or power. Jim 02/25/21 Update It is charging very slow now, like its burning out. It can barely keep up with use. IPhone 12 Max it has taken an hour to go from 50% to 57%, my cords are apple. iPad Pro in and hour it will charge about 5%. Had to down grade it from 5 to 3. Installed in desktop i built in an old closet (cloffice) for new home office based position. I needed outlets on the desktop for occasional use and the additional charging ports are always welcome. Install was straightforward. I have a hole saw set so punching through the wood was easy and the screw ring on the back keeps it in place. there are even screws provided if you want ot lock it permanently; i did not need to. The USB-C port activates my Galaxy S10 (work phone) fast charging, and hits level 4 of 5 charging speeds on my One Plus 7T (personal) phone. The USB-A port also hits fast charge for the S10, but regular charge on my 7T. It does charge my other devices (kindle, mifi, etc) quickly as well. ... show more

I've been using this for 2 months now with my Uplift desk and it works great, no issues. Very easy to install. Fits fine, it's not a tight fit, but it doesn't move/rotate unless I move it. I actually like this much better than the one I ordered with my desk, and may get a second to replace the uplift version which does not include a usb c option. 10/11/21: I now have 2 of these and they've been working great so far. ... show more

This worked great. We have a sectional sofa with a "console" section - a small flat area with cupholders and a storage tray. We always want to charge some device, so this was great. Bought the matching Dewalt circular saw, cut a hole in the side of the plastic storage tray, and ran this. Perfect!
