You need to find a larger hole saw. Product is exactly 3" so is the saw but. I drum sanded the hole till it slid in. Every other one we installed allowed for atandard bit tolerances

After reading some reviews on similar items, the first thing I checked out was to see if it would charge my iPad/iPhone because some negative reviews complained other manufactures desk grommets wouldn’t, but this one does great. Worth the price, and easy to install.
