Perfect for my set up. I have a very small portable desk with laptop on one side and a decent size monitor on the other side (much like the picture in the ad). This fits nicely in between the two and doesn't take up any working space and the levels of brightness are just right. The cord is pretty long, so I wrapped it around the pole and have the on/off switch attached for easy access. This is also pretty tall so the light is out of the way and the top is flexible so I can move it into right position, so it isn't blinding or distracting while working. It's a keeper :) ... show more

I bought 2 of these lights for my jewelry table at craft shows . Bought about a year ago, one is still working perfectly , but unfortunately just after a couple of months, the other one would not switch colors. It is stuck on the orangest color which doesn't showcase my sterling silver pieces very well. So I dont use that one any more. However, the 2nd one still works great! So probably just a dud, still works, so I am just going to use the other one somewhere in home where a little night table could be used. I do love that they can separate into two pieces making them great for travel/craft shows ... show more

Really easy to assemble and worked right out of the box (batteries included). The bendable arm is very sturdy and doesn't jiggle when using the desk its mounted to. I actually taped the remote to the underside of my desk so the lamp light can be turned on/off or adjusted easily without having to look for the remote. The variety of configurations the light can have is also pretty impressive (brightness, color temperature, etc.). The bracket's clamp also widens a lot and can fit my desk, which is relatively thick.
