My son has blonde hair (on the dark side) and these showed up beautifully. They were perfect for crazy hair day at school. I sprayed his hair with a water to dampen it before hand. I did NOT blow dry it like the instructions say. I brushed it after applying to smooth and soften it. The colors stayed on all day then washed out easily.
