I have an older Depstech borescope that uses a wifi connection to a phone or tablet. This is a major upgrade from that version along with a major price-jump. But for what you get in this package it's worth it, even at the full retail price of $160. (Currently it's on sale at a great price). This one has a built-in monitor and a controllable endpoint camera that can be a huge help when you're not sure what you're looking at. The other version has no control over where you're looking than to twist and turn the other end and hope that you line up where you want. It's got a great battery life, but the cable is shorter than the other version. Still, for most things you aren't going to need much more than the five-foot length. There are others with longer cables available, but you'll pay more for those. The two-way articulation feature works well and is controlled by using your thumb on the little lever on the handle just under the display. This makes it easy to look around the corners. It's got a great resolution screen and you don't need a tablet, phone, or WiFi to use it. It will record snapshots and video on a micro-SD card -- there's a 32GB one included. I like the included case which makes it easy to store and locate without having to keep the box around. If I had to nitpick it would be that the rubber piece that covers the card-slot and the USB-C charging port doesn't have a nice way to snap back in place. It just hangs there. After you remove the charging cable, the rubber piece stays sort of curved away from the tool. It might be something that a small piece of double-sided tape could help, but still it seems like an oversight given the other features of the tool. This is a bargain at the current price of $120 which is a sale price. Overall, this is a great tool to have for when you need to inspect somewhere that you can't easily get to. Five stars.

I am extremely impressed with this DEPSTECH Dual Lens Borescope Camera! The dual lens design is fantastic, allowing you to see both straight ahead and at an angle without having to reposition the camera constantly. The 5” IPS screen is bright and clear, making it easy to inspect tight spaces with excellent visibility. I mostly got this for my husband because he works on cars, machines, plumbing, etc., and he absolutely loves having this tool. It has been a total game changer! You can really look into things in depth in places you normally wouldn't be able to see, and really get to the bottom of what is going on with anything. The articulating probe works smoothly in two directions, and the slim probe fits into narrow spaces that are otherwise impossible to reach. The camera’s 1080P resolution delivers crisp, detailed images, and the built in light illuminates even the darkest areas perfectly. It’s waterproof, durable, and simple to operate, making inspections of walls, engines, pipes, and other hard to reach areas effortless. This borescope is versatile, reliable, and well worth the purchase! My husband has gotten so many compliments on this item. He even took it to work where he fixes machines in a factory and every guy he works with has seen this wanted details about it including where they can order their own. They all want their own because it definitely makes finding problems and fixing them a breeze! I would say this is definitely a 5 star tool for anyone who needs precision inspection! I say if you are a mechanic, plumber, electrician, home and building work, even DIY crafters, could all benefit from having this. Really, any job that involves tight spaces, hidden areas, or detailed visual inspections can benefit from this tool. The dual-lens design is especially helpful when you need both a forward view and a side/angled view. The price is definitely worth it for this quality and useful item! I was blown away and so has everyone else that has got to see this in action! It shocks and impresses everyone to say the least! Would make an AMAZING gift for the holidays. I can guarantee that any man who works with his hands would absolutely love to have this for a Christmas gift, birthday gift, father's day gift, or even just because!

The media could not be loaded. How many times have I needed this tool! This Borescope is fairly well thought out and feature packed. First it comes in a very nice case to store and haul around. The camera is attached to a 56-inch-long control arm. The manual is helpful with a QR code insert for tutorial videos. From the handheld unit, the camera can be made to go up and down, dual screens, 180 degree views, increase or decrease lighting, take a photo or video. For protection, it also senses temperature to prevent the unit from being damage by shutting off in excessive heat. It came fully charged and with as 32G card to store the pictures and videos that can be downloaded to your computer. The downside is the camera picture quality. While screen selections for settings are crystal clear, the picture quality is mediocre. However, positioning just right can bring clearer images. Please see photo of coolant lines where you can clearly read the stampings on the hose. I own nothing to compare this too so not sure if this is a good value as others may have more features and better picture quality. With that said, it will be a great help to me in fact could have used it yesterday when a wrench fell somewhere in the bottom of a Toyota.
