I’ve had periods of incontinence of bowel over the past few years. I’ve tried several styles of diapers/underwear and have decided that the Depend Flex-Fit underwear are GREAT beyond compare !!!!!! THEY DON’T LEAK, and that is a major plus. They fit well. Don’t make odd bulges. They don’t make odd noises. But still the main plus on these is that they don’t leak. They absorb the liquid and the solid just kinda stays put. Now, I’m not suggesting you could do unlimited activities, but I can get from my bed to the bathroom, or kitchen to the bathroom with the hope that I wouldn’t be leaving a trail. Or - worst case scenario - doing something outside the house - I am able to get to the nearest bathroom without being embarrassed. Can’t ask for more than that. ... show more

My wife has MS and has been very happy with these for the past few years. Because of her condition it's very difficult for her to remove them, requiring one of us to pull them down from the front while she was in a sitting position, but they would still typically last for a couple of days if they were not wet. They have obviously changed and this new shipment is terrible. She isn't able to get one full day of use before they shred, the pad separating from the outer liner and whatever new beads of absorbent material that they're using goes everywhere and covers the entire lower portion of her body. Because she's prone to UTI's, this is a bad situation. I just wanted to let everyone know that these aren't the same product that they were a short time ago. ... show more

I had been purchasing "XL" Depends at my local Wal-Mart, but started buying them on Amazon. For some inexplicable reason, the more I purchased, the more everything changed: 1. PACKAGING: At first, the packaging was the same as the packaging the "XL" Depends I had been purchasing at WalMart. However, it seemed that once someone figured out I was a repeat buyer, the packaging changed to clear packaging with the "Depends" name on it (certainly not very confidential). However, I noticed no other difference when the packaging was changed. 2. LOOK: I had been ordering "Depends" for several months, and the fit and look had always been the same. However, when my last order arrived, I discovered the marking which differentiated the front from the back had changed. 3. FIT: I also noticed the fit was much smaller than on my previous orders. Instead of receiving an "XL" size which covered my entire derriere, I received what seemed to be a "L" size which fell far short of covering it. 4. QUALITY: The other thing I noticed was the quality was much poorer than on my previous orders: the fabric seemed to be much thinner and less elasticized. Other "XL" customers have noted some of the same problems as noted above. However, Kimberly-Clark's consistent response has been that nothing has changed, so the customer should contact the vendor for help. I hope instead of giving me the same canned response, Kimberly-Clark will put on their thinking caps, and realize there must be some problem with manufacturing and/or quality control to have had so many people having the same problems. Frankly, I feel that once I became a repeat "XL" Depends customer, someone started sending me a far inferior and far more ill-fitting product than when I first began ordering them. If that's the case, it may be good for the people making those decisions to realize that sending back this type of product is a hassle for their customers, so they'll start buying another product, or start buying Depends at their local WalMart. At least buying them at WalMart would ensure the quality remains the same, and if it does not, they could be easily returned for a refund. Losing customers may be another good reason Kimberly-Clark should look into this problem, instead of dishing out the same, tired answer. March, 2021: After writing the above review, I found another brand that was far superior to Depends and have been using it ever since. However, when it was out-of-stock on Amazon for some time, I decided to give Depends another try. Once again, Depends lost: The panty of the other brand is much softer than Depends. Also, the padding between the legs not only makes it more comfortable, but also does a much better job of drawing moisture away from the body. If Amazon is ever again out-of-stock of the product I’m using now, I’ll once again have to substitute another brand, but it most definitely won’t be Depends. ... show more

    • Comfortable, invisible, and silent!

Before getting sick I couldn't imagine the embarrassment of wearing an adult diaper. Now that I need one occasionally it's not like a diaper, its like absorbent underwear and I'm extremely happy with this brand. These fit well, can pull up like underwear and I haven't had any accidents to tell you how well it absorbs yet. They're comfortable, they don't make swishy sounds when you're walking and they don't show under your clothes. I tried about four different brands and this one is still the best. My only problem is I'm smaller than an extra large and bigger than a large so I either have to gain weight or lose weight to be perfectly fitted LOL. I highly recommend these and it's not a bad idea to get a small amount and have them on standby just in case. ... show more

    • Beware of "counterfeit" Depends!

I have worn the Maximum Absorbency FIT-FLEX Depends for about two years. Up until now I have been very pleased with the product. That ended abruptly with the shipment I received last week. This new version is nothing like its predecessor. It's as phony as a $3 bill! Instead of being a healthy pink color, this product is a nasty gray/pink shade. It looks dirty! Gross! The original product marked the back with a fuzzy oval. This pretender marks the back with a clearly delineated rectangle. Of course the really important difference between the new and the fake is in the absorbency factor. These new ones are about 2/3 as absorbent as the original ones. They are thinner. They don't work as well. I miss the clean pink, truly absorbent, originals. I will not order these again. Instead I will begin my search for a more authentic brand of incontinence underwear. I was tickled to see that Depends was offering a XXL size, so I bought a bunch of them to check it out. Guess what? Not nearly a real XXL. Maybe like an XL. So, don't do what I did and get stuck with a bunch of little skimpy britches!
