I've had 2 children, a hysterectomy, and another abdominal surgery. I was concerned about my vaginal health and read reviews about this device for a couple months before I decided to buy. Look, it's a great little divice. I've had it for 6 months, I've consistently stuck with it, and had some frustrating moments, but the device is not defective. I had some connection problems but realized it's mostly my phone and i wasn't "gently squeezing " the elvie correctly. I have never had connection issues since I figured out what i was doing wrong. When i fist started using it I was amazed that i didn't know how to do kegles right!!! I felt like a weakling, and usually started sweating mid workout. This really helped me figure out how to appropriately engage my pf muscles when standing and laying down. I started on Training standing up, and had to work my muscles all the way to intermediate before i had enough strength to get the jewel to move when laying down. I can absolutely feel a difference in my strength and when intimate. I can easily do kegles and feel the muscles pulling inward and up, anytime i do them. My love life is NOTICEABLY different. Sensations are more intense, no pain, really incredible climax. My other is very pleased with things on his side too. If you have the money for it, and will ACTUALLY take the time to use it, get it.     • I would not purchase again
The Elvie Floor Trainer is a great idea but the actual product is a waste of money. I used consistently for the first month to two after purchasing and I was excited about the device, monitoring progress, the app and progression of difficulty of exercises based on frequency of use. The sensing of the kegal movement between pelvic trainer and app was usually accurate but within a few months of use it seemed to sometimes be off. I quit using for the summer months due to life circumstances and business. After trying to return to using the Elvie it no longer works in less than 6 months of purchase and I've tried to recharge several times and troubleshoot.     • Best Core Exercise EVER! Forget going to the gym!!!
I came to Amazon to read reviews on the yoni egg fad and discovered Elvie. A five minute exercise with feedback and graduated workouts set to your unique pace-seemed much more doable for my lifestyle than the yoni egg. As a massage therapist, I believe the best part of Elvie is the feedback. It took me 4 days before I was performing one of the exercises correctly. If you are unaware of strengthening incorrectly you could be creating a potential havoc down the road. I birthed four kids in five years and while I was not experiencing incontinence, a few sessions with Elvie made it clear that 'something' was getting stronger. Pelvic floor muscle weakness can lead to variable issues throughout the body. After three sessions my low grade hip and SI joint pain was more faint. After a week of working out my core was stronger than 2 years of kettle bell training. When I graduated from the intermediate to advanced level I broke a sweat! Yet, it was only a 5 minute work out. A month later, while my weight is the same my waist is smaller and my clothes looser. My abs and back feel much stronger. And interestingly, I have less neck and shoulder tension. I contacted Elvie about their warranty before I share this pricey gem with my female clients, friends, and family. There's a two year warranty offered by the company (not amazon) and customers may contact them in the rare event there's a problem with the product. I've had this for over a month and have had no problems. The one time it seemed like the app was not connecting with the device was corrected by closing and reopening the app. I've only had to charge the device twice since the purchase.     • good motivator, but may not have reproducible results
i purchased this product at the recommendation of my PT to aid in pelvic floor training. it is easy to use, but i have recently had some trouble getting connection, and keeping connection. that is annoying. i also have days where the device is not able to record much, and other days my strength seems great. so, although i accept that this might be due to normal day-to-day variation, it seems to be extreme variability. therefore, i question the product‘s ability to accurately measure strength of contractions. regardless, the (ample) money’s been spent, so i will continue to use thus product. also, i would encourage people to purchase this product AFTER you download the elvie app so that you can get a discount. i wasted $20 because i purchased it from amazon; the code my discount PT gabe me had expired. ... show more

I received the Elvie as a Christmas gift from my girlfriend- we have joked in the past that I have trouble making it to the bathroom and loose control when I cough or sneeze - the joys of getting older! (And I haven’t even had children!). I’m so happy with it, so grateful that she gave it to me. Despite reports that it doesn’t connect, I haven’t had any issues. My phone is always connected to WiFi when I’m home so it has been very easy to use and connect. The exercises give me direction to make sure I’m doing them right. After a week and a half of doing my exercises, I sneezed one day and nothing came out. I was so excited!! Other methods of tightening your pelvic muscles are extremely expensive. I have found this product an effective and affordable solution. Sex with my boyfriend is also more enjoyable, I’ve already noticed stronger orgasms. I would highly recommend this product. Just be consistent with your exercises and patient and you will see an improvement. Exciting!! ... show more
