I came to Amazon to read reviews on the yoni egg fad and discovered Elvie. A five minute exercise with feedback and graduated workouts set to your unique pace-seemed much more doable for my lifestyle than the yoni egg. As a massage therapist, I believe the best part of Elvie is the feedback. It took me 4 days before I was performing one of the exercises correctly. If you are unaware of strengthening incorrectly you could be creating a potential havoc down the road. I birthed four kids in five years and while I was not experiencing incontinence, a few sessions with Elvie made it clear that 'something' was getting stronger. Pelvic floor muscle weakness can lead to variable issues throughout the body. After three sessions my low grade hip and SI joint pain was more faint. After a week of working out my core was stronger than 2 years of kettle bell training. When I graduated from the intermediate to advanced level I broke a sweat! Yet, it was only a 5 minute work out. A month later, while my weight is the same my waist is smaller and my clothes looser. My abs and back feel much stronger. And interestingly, I have less neck and shoulder tension. I contacted Elvie about their warranty before I share this pricey gem with my female clients, friends, and family. There's a two year warranty offered by the company (not amazon) and customers may contact them in the rare event there's a problem with the product. I've had this for over a month and have had no problems. The one time it seemed like the app was not connecting with the device was corrected by closing and reopening the app. I've only had to charge the device twice since the purchase. Like I said...Best Core Exercise EVER! Forget going to the gym!!!

Everything that people have negatively commented about this product has proven true. I used it once and everything was great and I was sure people just didn’t know how to use it and then... wouldn’t connect or drops connection, falls out, doesn’t seem to charge... the negative experiences others were experiencing happened to me. I have had it for weeks and have had one good day. Usually it just won’t connect. I sit there waiting for it to connect but it won’t. I worry it is not charged but it is hard to tell because the charging light turns off when it is full. So is it charged or not charging?? Worst of all is that when it does connect it doesn’t seem consistent. I don’t know how to insert it any other way but the gem seems to be registering differently. Sometimes I can barely lift it above the line when I know I have had no trouble with that before. Or it is actually already above the line and I can’t “relax” it down. How is this helpful feedback? I get so frustrated waiting for it to connect and then it loses connection. I have had 11 workouts in 2 weeks because of the connection issues and my frustrations. Besides all that, it doesn’t give great feedback. It just says good job when in fact I may be very below average. Save your money. Just do your kegels in your own. A visit to a physiotherapist will be less expensive than buying this overpriced piece of crap. Update: still frustrated. Disconnects all the time. Still inconsistent feedback that is not helpful.

I've had this device for three years and it's still going strong. Original review from 2017... I've been using this device for about 7 weeks. So I've had to time to really see if it worked and what the results are with using it. I'm a mother of 4 having had 2 vaginal births and 2 csections. During my last pregnancy I developed Symphysis pubis dysfunction and my pelvic floor was severely weakened. After the pregnancy I could barely feel anything with penetrative sex among other issues like long term pelvic pain. I did a lot of physical therapy with internal work but it was hard to stick with the exercises at home when not with the therapist. Finally after years of just dealing with it I came across Elvie. I'm happy to say it has made a huge difference. After 7 weeks I would say things are 90 percent back to normal. I've just made it to the advanced workouts so I'm sure things will keep improving. I am so happy. I was single and the idea of having sex with a new partner with my issues was so anxiety inducing and I was afraid. It hurt my self confidence. I'm happy to say that I have a partner again and everything worked which is huge. This has helped me so much and given me back my love life. I wanted to write a detailed review on this issue because I could mostly find just info on incontinence. I wanted to let women know that this will help if you have sexual dysfunction from a weak pelvic floor.
