  • Incontinence: Stress Incontinence is associated with the leakage of small amounts of urine during sneezing, coughing and other activities which increase the pressure in the abdomen. Urge Incontinence is an overactive bladder cause leakage of large amounts of urine at unexpected times, including sleep. iStim V2 Incontinence Electrical Stimulation is indeed the right device for solving incontinence issues. Both stress and urge incontinence, the most common types of incontinence, could be reduced.
  • iStim V2 INCONTINENCE STIMULATOR: With 5 Preset Programs, 0-99 Level Intensity, and key lock function. Use iStim V2 to practice Kegel exercise for strengthening the pelvic floor muscles and achieve postpartum recovery. Once strength has been improved by the brief courses of electrical stimulation, the muscles are better able to resist urinary leakage caused by external pressures applied to bladder.

  • Works
For some reason I feel skeptical about some of these reviews, so I really wanted to add my 2 cents. I am a real, random person who bought this lol. I have been using this for 1 week 2x a day. I started on program 2 level 15 as recommended, and have very gradually moved up to 30. I will continue to try to slowly work my way up. I am kind of confused about the other programs but program 2 seems to hold a basic kegel. About half the time I will try to flex with the machine when it stimulates the contraction. I have no idea what I'm doing lol but in my mind this seems like a good idea. Last week I couldn't orgasm easily at all, this week I am orgasming much more readily and it feels better. I will update again as I continue to use this product. It's a shame that pelvic floor dysfunction treatment is so inaccessible for so many women, it seems like this device might actually work and if so I really want others to be aware of it. For now I'm cautiously hopeful. Will update again in a few weeks. Edit: I'm back, it's been about 5 weeks of consistent use. I am only now at setting 40, so not much increase since my last review as I have been very slow about working up in intensity. Given that these are very delicate and important areas, I am trying to make sure I REALLY listen to my body. That means making sure I take 1-2 days off a week, and toning it down if it feels "zappy." This seems like common sense but in our enthusiasm to fix things i could imagine not doing this, but it seems very important. Ultimately probably this kind of device should be used with some kind of medical supervision, so I'm just trying to be cautious. I make sure i fully empty my bladder beforehand. Another thing i do per another review is flip what side is facing up between each use. I think both sides of mine are delivering equal shocks, but in the event that they arent and i cant tell this is at least "evening" it out. One interesting effect I have noticed: for the last few years I noticed some leaking with "regular" sized tampons. I wasn't sure what was going on. Last month I had my period and experienced no leakage, which I take to be a result of this product. Will continue to update. ... show more

  • If I could put 10 stars I would!
After having two kids naturally , I had a prolapsed uterus. I couldn't sneeze, work out or even go about my day without peeing myself. I was sick of wearing panty liners. I tried MONTHS of physical therapy (yes that is a thing) and was contemplating surgery) After 2 days of using this little device, I had no more leakage! After 4 days, I noticed the prolapse was repairing itself! This is one of the best products I have ever come across. It's a game changer and worth every penny. TIP...... I think when people are commenting that the controller doesn't work, you need to press and hold the power button for a few seconds to turn it on....also, for the ones saying that "only one side worked" I tested with fingertips and one side doesn't work without the other. It is a similar concept to a dogs shock collar (2 prongs) you don't get the zap or power without both metal pieces touching flesh. I hope this helps future purchasers because this product is amazing! I am so excited to not pee myself. I look forward to living my life, not having to change my diaper (panty liner) 😆 ... show more

  • Stick With It
This device absolutely works if you have a weak pelvic floor. If you're experiencing urinary incontinence, your situation may absolutely get worse before it gets better but POWER THROUGH. This is essentially a more powerful TENS/EMS device. In fact, if you happen to have a TENS/EMS device at home (I did), you can plug the probe into it and see that it works but the highest setting on that device is very low compared to this device. I used it twice a day for 4 months. I could see that my incontinence issue was changing somehow right away. It was still there and at some point it got worse but I understand that the science is sound so I stuck with it. I no longer have an incontinence issue and let's just say that my ability to experience pleasure has greatly increased. I plan in sticking to my twice a day routine for a couple of more months. Here are some tips: - Only routines P01 and P02 are actually Kegel exercises so don't bother with the others - After you've used it for a month or so, you should have created the muscle memory to be able to properly do Kegel's throughout the day without the device. My doctor says that the most effective way to do Kegel's is 10 second contractions with 10 seconds of relaxation in between. DON'T try and do Kegel's on your own until you've gotten that muscle memory established. You won't be helping yourself at all. - Make sure you get a water based lubricant to use with the device. - Add cranberry juice or cranberry pill supplements to your daily routine to prevent UTIs - Your leg may involuntary jerk as the contractions happen. This is nothing to worry about, anymore than your foot kicking forward when your knee is bonked in the right spot. The most important thing to keep in mind is that THIS DEVICE CANNOT HARM YOU. The worst case scenario is that after 6 months, you don't get any improvement. That will tell you that you probably need to look at a surgical option but I promise you that this device will not hurt you in any way. Anyone that says it will just doesn't understand how it works. ... show more
