I'm not your typical Chihuahua. I'm what you would refer to as a one-of-a-kind ChiWowWow. I like to look good for my honeys and that includes taking care of my nails, coat and remaining teeth. Seeing as I'm part fiercely ferocious and part numpty neurotic, typical dental hygiene measures seldom work out. I have a stash of buried toothbrushes and finger wipes I keep as trophies. No company ever got rich by overestimating what I want to put in my mouth. This Dental Fresh Water Additive, however, isn't bad. It came into my life more than two years ago and worked really well back then. It seems to me now, that it brightened my teeth and freshened my breath in a matter of a couple of weeks. My personal assistants, however, neglected to order some for quite a while after I finished the second bottle. (They've been dealt with for dropping the ball on that - and it wasn't pretty). A couple of months ago I got the feeling I had bad breath going on. For one, my Shih tZu neighbor turned her nose up at my proposal for a moonlit stroll. Moonlight strolls are her favorite, so I knew something was wrong. Luckily (and good for them), my personal assistants were more observant of my needs, and they seemed to think that the kisses I seldom give them smelled far fishier than the Fish Oil I demand in my grub. As such, they purchased another bottle of this stuff and I've been using for almost a month. Much to my chagrin (what isn't?), I seem to recall this stuff being much better and faster-acting when I first tried it two years ago. My breath is better than it was a couple of months back, and I notice that my teeth are beginning to whiten, but the first time my assistants bought this, the results were pretty great and they happened a lot faster. I presume the formula might have been changed either because it was too good at fixing oral issues, or to make it more palatable now, which it is. Could be I'm just remembering it wrong - but that doesn't happen much. As far as I'm concerned, we're keeping this on the shopping list. Moonlit walks are back on the calendar.

After much wasted time, I have at last accepted that my cats will never agree to brush their teeth, so this water additive may be helping. I've purchased in the past, but for some reason this bottle has blue coloring, which stains the water bowl (but easily washes away), otherwise would review more highly. I purchased because it's a larger bottle and better value for the money, but some slightly different formula as don't understand why it has coloring.

This product has no smell. Our dogs drink it easily and we haven’t noticed any issues. One of our dogs had extremely bad breath that is no longer a problem. We are hoping this prevents dental work and extraction of teeth. Too early to tell if this will be the case. We will continue to use this product.

I've been using this product for the last 3 or so months and it's been really easy to maintain my dogs' dental hygiene on a daily basis. I add one cap full to their water bowl every morning and I've noticed a significant change in their breath. I've also noticed a huge change in the tar on their teeth.
