  • High quality Made in Belgium goodness
Size: 9.4-inch
We have a good mix set of Atlantis/7ply series Demeyre pots and pans that purchased 4 years ago. They still look new. They all retain heat so well with next to no cold spots. They were expensive but they will not only last my life time but my kids and there kids. No complaints after 4 years of daily use. They are little heavy but that’s due to 7ply but much lighter than cast iron griddle we have. We cook eggs etc in these all the time with no food sticking if you pre heat the pan first on medium heat for few mins and pour a drop or two of water droplet to see if it dances around the pan (ready to cook) or evaporates (not ready so let it heat more). Nothing sticks on our Demeyre pans. ... show more

OMG! I had to watch several YouTube videos to be convinced to spend this much on a pan, but it cooks like a dream, cleans easily when used correctly, and is gorgeous! Find the videos for advice on getting the best from it and proper care. Our non-stick fry-pans are getting a vacation. Use it on any heat source, under the broiler, and in the oven. • Heat distribution. Maintenance. Easy to clean.
Size: 9.4-inch
I use Ruffoni cookware set daily over the past 15 years and recently sent them out to get re-tinned. Side note, I would have opted to get Ruffoni copper cookware lined with SS if available back then due to costly re-tinning and shipping cost. While waiting for my pots and pans to arrive, I purchased a Demeyere skillet and Demeyere sauce pans/steamer basket to get me through daily cooking. I also own All Clad D3 and D5 skillets and pans and Lodge small cast iron skillets (I use to fry and serve eggs). All Clad has noticeable hot spots when I simmer sauce. Demeyere skillet heats up quick and I don’t need to worry about forgetting to add/spray oil (I need to remember to add oil on Ruffoni tin-lined skillet before starting the heat), has even heat distribution and no hot spots. Two good things about Demeyere skillet, I can pan-sear and finish in the oven without worrying about temperature. With tin-lined ruffoni I can’t use in the oven above 430F. Lastly, Demeyere Atlantis material is easy to clean. Sans costly re-tinning 10-15 years from now, ease of use and low maintenance, Demeyere Atlantis line is worth the money and will be my go to everyday cookware from now on. ... show more

  • The last and only skillets you'll need
Size: 9.4-inch
I have both the 9.4 and the 11 inch pans. They have replaced my cast iron and carbon steel pans. These pans have enough thermal mass, almost 4mm of aluminum, to sear as well as the other materials while heating up much more quickly and evenly. That's significantly more aluminum that you'll find in any other clad pan, enough to perform almost like copper cookware, while having much better heat retention. If you don't know how to cook with stainless steel to minimize sticking, search YouTube for videos, there are many. I am even weaning myself off non-stick pans by learning how to cook correctly with SS. The proprietary Silvinox surface treatment makes his cookware much easier to clean than cheaper SS pans. The handles are secure, stay cool, and are comfortable. I own some All Clad which are good, but their handle put in mind of walking on gravel barefoot sometimes. Yes, they're heavy but quality cookware has to be heavy. Demeyere products work well on both my induction and gas cooktops. Unlike my fancy French brand carbon steel pans, these stay flat on induction burners and give me the best browning and temperature control I have ever experienced. I also own a Demeyere Atlantis saucier and can recommend that also. I have even given one as a gift. Demeyere is an investment, but you'll use them so long and cook so many great meals, you'll forget all about the cost. ... show more

  • Shipping package could be better
Size: 12.6-inch
I would have given this 5 if the box it came in had been in better shape. Pan is in great shape, no scratches or dents. However, the handle can easily poke through shipping box. For the money Demeyre charges for their products, a box should not be an issue! Otherwise, great product.

  • Specs to help determine if it is too big for you
Size: 12.6-inch
First, the pan is high quality and feels really solid. In our first cooking test, it took a bit longer to heat up, but the heat distribution was very good and the pan held the heat (a bit like cast iron). It is also big and quite heavy - especially when trying to maneuver it with the long handle. Here are some specifications that are not in the listing that can help you decide if this pan is right for you (see attached images of packaging). Model = 25632 Diameter at lip = 12.6" (32 cm) Diameter at base = 10.2" (26 cm) Minimum cooking ring diameter = 8.7" (22 cm) 100% dishwasher safe (sealed edges) At 12.5 inches in diameter, this pan is larger than any other pan in my kitchen. It will work well for very large meals, but will probably be too big for most meals. Be sure to measure your cooking ring diameter. The packaging states the minimum cooking ring diameter is 8.7" for this pan (7.1" for the 11" sized equivalent pan). Also, these pans do not come with lids (at least not in the USA). Demeyere makes glass lids for their fry pans. The 12.5 inch lid is Demeyere part number 6532 in case you need this accessory. If we had known these specifications, we would have purchased the 11" sized equivalent pan (model 25628), but are keeping the 12.5" for when the kids all come home for a big meal. ... show more

  • Best in stainless
Size: 9.4-inch
I’ve been using Stainless Steel since the nineties, however they weren’t of this quality. I also use Cast Iron and Carbon Steel, I’ve been particularly fond of my cast iron due to its durability and simplicity. However since finding a quality 7 ply trying it out I fell in love with Stainless Steel. Unfortunately the brand I chose no longer makes 7 ply cookware. So the search began, which led me to Demeyer. Oh I know there are a couple of brands out there but I trust the Demeyer name. I’m glad to say that once I found the sweet spot on this pan nothing sticks and I get some amazing results from it. I’ll be buying more from Demeyer in the near future. ... show more
