I'm super into the whole smart home thing and when I discovered this sink I had to have it. I have had a delta touch sink for 6 years and it's amazing! I've only had to replace the batteries twice in that time. This one uses 6 AA batteries instead of 4 on my old one. This also needs to be plugged into an outlet. It says not to use an outlet with a switch because it usually goes to the garbage disposal, but as a work around, put the garbage disposal on a smart outlet and leave the switch on. Now I just tell Alexa to start the garbage disposal. Installation was pretty straight forward and setup was so easy. I just turned the faucet on so the light was on but no water running and connected the phone to the delta wifi then opened a browser to the IP address in the instructions and the setup walked you through everything. It actually dispenses the correct amount of water too! And customizing different items is a breeze! The only disappointing thing is that it does not come with a baseboard to cover up extra holes if you already have some drilled. I'm getting a new sink that only has 1 hole so it works fine for me. Also the baseboard they recommend is currently $75! Ouch! Should totally come with that and not have to pay extra. ... show more

Nice design and touch on/off features, and the voice control is really cool. We had a difficult time setting up the Wi-Fi module until we realized that the DNS servers provided by my ISP were not resolving the requests the faucet module were making. In order to fix this, hard code your DNS to 8.8.8.8 (Google's servers) under advanced settings during setup and everything should work. ... show more

Love this faucet!! Beautiful color. We love the touch sensor when cooking. We did have to install a separate power box as it has to be on 24/7 and the one we planned on using was wired for the garbage disposal that has an on/off switch. I had previously ordered from Lowe’s and shipment was delayed 5 weeks before I cancelled. Apparently it was on back order. Order it on Amazon and had it in 2 days. ... show more

What a mistake. This faucet fails in every way. The finish is cheap. It shows every water stain or spot. You can buy $25 faucets that have better finishes than this one. The way it mounts is awkward and doesn’t clamp tight to the counter. It was a major pain to get it installed and it’s always been loose. It feels flimsy and floppy, like the spout is only loosely hanging on. Because of that, the spout likes to wander, especially when it’s running. That’s a nice feature if you want your kitchen to double as a swimming pool. As for the touch feature, it’s poorly implemented. Having the handle be touch sensitive is stupid and gives you no way to precisely control the water. Half the time you have to play a game of tag tapping it repeatedly to get water. Other times you end up with water all over your short sleeve. It’s a good idea perhaps, but the way Delta designed it sucks. And the Alexa integration? Well, it’s not worth $20. Again, a cool idea implemented very badly. I thought it would be a matter of saying “Alexa, dispense 1 cup of water.” But no. First, the handle has to be on, prepped and ready for your shirt sleeves when you reach into the sink, then you have to say, “Alexa, ask Delta to dispense 1 cup of water.” Fractions often get the response “I can’t dispense that amount.” That’s for .5 cups. Great. Other times It can’t even handle basic math. It’s buggy. Finally, as if there weren’t enough fatal flaws, the internet connectivity is insecure with open ports waiting to be exploited, and Delta tracks your use of the faucet. Why they want to track and sell that information, I don’t know, but I object. I guess, like most thieves, they can’t come into a house without stealing something. When I disabled it, they had the gall to contact me and tell me to reconnect it so they could steal more data. Overall, this is a $20 faucet and it represents everything that wrong with American companies. Instead of making a quality product, they make a crap product, add a little software as a gimmick, sell it for an outrageous markup and advertise the hell out of it. Sad. Really sad. It going in the garbage. Goodbye Delta. If I never use one of your faucets again, that will still be too soon. Update - Another reason I hate this faucet. The spray head attachment is tiny. You invariably touch the spout when you pull it. Then you have to stop and play idiot tag with the faucet to start it again. Every. Damn. Time. They probably saved a couple of pennies making it so small, because it only affects the consumer, and once you go down the route of ripping people off, the consumer no longer matters at all. ... show more

it took my plumber 5 trips to get installed working. not all parts were in box so a part had to be sent. still did not work. a replacement part was sent to make the touch work. now it is "WONDERFUL". A lot of trouble and extra expense to complete. I still would recommend this to anyone especially if you are physically handicapped. It is a nice faucet and appears to be good quality, but it definitely takes getting used to. The style is great for what we wanted, but the features can be extremely frustrating or not functional for your setup. First, the touch on/off. This is a nice feature to have while you are there working at the sink. The ability to just tap the metal parts of the faucet to turn the water on/off is quite handy at times. However, it is also a curse. We frequently turn the water on and either accidentally tap part of the metal somewhere, which shuts the water back off, or water drips on it and turns it back off, or it automatically turns off after a period of time. This definitely took getting used to and figuring out where we can/cannot touch to turn it on/off. The sprayer is connected by the hose and plastic, so touching that does not turn it on/off. Voice control: While this is pretty neat to play with, the sink must be in the on position for it to work. We don't quite trust leaving the valve open on the sink at all times to be able to use this functionality. PLUS, we are on well water and have a reverse osmosis filtration system under our sink and we use that filtered water for drinking/cooking, etc. Although we purchased the matching reverse osmosis beverage faucet, that one does not have voice control, so telling the faucet to run 1 cup of water would be awesome, we can't really use it. We really like the LED light that indicates the water temperature. For the install, there are many hoses and cables running under our sink, and this faucet has several hoses, power cable, battery pack cable, and control boxes that can easily be tangled up (or easily caught by the weighted hose for the spray nozzle). I purchased a tension curtain rod to install at the back of the sink cabinet to help separate all the hoses, wires, drain pipes, so the weighted hose for the pull-down nozzle doesn't get stuck. That greatly improved the frustration of having to go under the sink to move things around so the pull-down would fully retract. So, overall, it is a nice fauct that has been working great, but I would not buy it again since we are not able to fully benefit from many of the features. ... show more
