Color - “Taupe” slightly darker than pictured, a sandy light brown color. Very pretty. Material - Linen, seems durable and though not soft it’s not scratchy either Comfort - Not a “plush” chair, but definitely soft enough to nap in. It’s comfortable without being so cushy that it’s hard to get out of Size - I took a picture of it next to diaper gene for size reference. It’s small yes. But for me perfect. I’m 5’3 and needed something I could get in and out of easy while holding a baby. When I sit in chair and have feet flat on floor my knee is at perfect 90% angle and lap is flat, don’t have to use tiptoe to push off floor to glide. The chair arms are slightly lower.. maybe 2 inches above my lap. But for me I think this will make breastfeeding easier. With my last baby I found the chair arms were always too high and in the way. I can still use the arm rest for just that..an “arm rest”, it’s just not high enough to lean on or you’d have to lean forward/down. The chair back hits about mid neck, perfect for if you want to rest your head “back” meaning you’d be looking slightly up. Great for napping. It’s not tall enough to “rest” your head on while you watch TV or something though. I would say for anyone over 5’5 get a bigger chair if you want to be comfortable. Assembly - Super easy. Slide the back into the metal catches on base, couple bolts to hold it together and the chair cushion velcros to keep from sliding around. Overall - There’s not much room in the chair to share with a child over a year. This isn’t a good snuggle up and read a book with your toddler chair. BUT in the first year while baby is little I promise you that you will need a good glider and this is perfect for a petite mama. Comfortable and easy to get down/up from (if 5’5 or under) and easy to rock without having to reach or use tiptoes I’m 5’3 and 160lbs this chair is perfect size and comfy. Very happy with the quality and construction. My 6’5 husband looks a little funny in it. But he could technically use if needed.. he just wouldn’t be super comfortable ... show more

I was hesitant to try this chair. I spent $500+ on my first son's nursery chair (and still love it) but it's huge and our second son's room is significantly smaller. I've had to re-think all the furniture in order to not make the room feel overcrowded. This chair is the PERFECT size for a small space and is actually really comfortable. Both my husband and I (5'8 and 5'10) fit great in it and the glider mechanism is awesome. It glides very smoothly and was super quick/easy to put together. If you're looking for a smaller, quality glider in a beautiful cream color this is a great option! Only one con - there were a few light smudges on the front when it arrived. I'm fairly sure we can get them out but not ideal for a brand new piece of furniture. ... show more

This is a really comfy nursing chair but it’s very small so if you’re really tall or need something wider, this probably won’t be a good option. My husband didn’t like this chair at first because he said he couldn’t fit in it, but he eventually got used to it. Since it’s a small chair, it’s very good for small spaces. I was hesitant to purchase this chair as some reviews said it was small and child size. This is absolutely not true. I added a photo of my 6’2, 220 lb husband sitting in it. We bought to replace a worn out chair in our RV. It comes in 2 pieces. In the photo you will see the brackets the back slides into. That’s it. It’s all you have to do as far as assembly. The bottom fits through an RV door easily and then you can attach the back inside your RV. It is super comfortable. It swivels and glides. The arm rests are like memory foam. They are so soft. See pictures. We sprayed scotch guard on it before putting it in the Rv. The chair is well built and heavy enough that it won’t slide around when driving down the road but it could be bolted down as well. See pics of the bottom if your interested in doing that. The color gray is exactly like the ad shows. Our chair does not squeak or make any noise. I give this chair 5 stars. Well built, and very comfortable. ... show more

Okay so this is DEFINITELY a small chair. I do see why people may think it’s a kids chair to some degree but it does work for adults. However, I’d say small adults would be most comfortable. I’m 5’ 3” and I’m able to place my feet flat on the floor to rock. This isn’t typical for me in most chairs which for me does attest to it being small. But that is the entire purpose of this chair. It’s literally listed as a chair for small spaces and that’s exactly what it works best for. My sons nursery is a very small room so a small chair worked best for me. Another reviewer mentioned this chair wouldn’t likely be great for rocking kids over a year old and I’d tend to agree. It’s basically just big enough for a small person to sit comfortably with a small baby to nurse etc. Overall it’s a nice little chair! It’s comfy, the padding is nice. Assembly was beyond easy. It’s essentially just two pieces. The base and the backrest that you slide into a place with brackets and secure with bolts. It’s very nice and fits well in the narrow space I needed it for. It’s easy to assemble. It glides and swivels nicely. One thing I would say is it smells like mildew. Maybe that smell will fade over time but my sniffer is sensitive and it is a pretty strong smell.
