I don’t know if I was just unlucky or what but this package was a mess. Don’t get me wrong. The chair is beautiful. Very sturdy. But the package came open and the chair came with black all over it and I ordered the white chair. Also, this chair was extremely hard to put together. Nothing lined up. When it says do not tighten anything past 60% at first, please listen. It took me way longer than it should have. And like others have said the back is not very long and there is no place to rest your head and the bottom is not very wide either, but it is very comfortable. UPDATED: Seller was very kind and I truly believe this was a shipping/delivery issue!

I recently purchased the Skandiquip Nursery Rocking Chair in white, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The 100% cotton sherpa cover is incredibly soft and hypoallergenic, which gives me peace of mind when using it around my newborn. The anti-tip safety design, including anti-slip pads on the bottom, makes the chair feel extremely secure—no worries about accidents or instability. The sturdy frame, made of heavy gauge steel and rated for up to 440 lbs, is impressive; it's much stronger than other rocking chairs I've considered, many of which only hold half that weight. I absolutely love the look of the Skandiquip Nursery Rocking Chair, once it was together, it feels like a sleek, adult-quality rocker rather than a flimsy baby chair. The white cotton sherpa cover looks crisp, and the overstuffed foam seat makes it really cozy to sit in (even when I’m just relaxing with a book). That said, I almost gave up during assembly. The two arm-chair pieces were super difficult to get to fit together. It required a lot of force at the connection points — I worried I might break something — but finally managed to lock them in, and then did the final connection last. After the struggle with the chair pieces, assembly only took 10 minutes max. It ends up feeling rock-solid once built. Overall: gorgeous design and very sturdy when finished. But be ready to put in a little elbow grease to assemble it.

I LOVE this small, inexpensive chair for my small-ish apartment. I had bought another rocker which I thought would be smaller, but it was too large. I realized, after much unnecessary expense, that due to being an older person on the spectrum, I didn't NEED a plush, space eating recliner! I just needed a chair I could rock in from time to time. It's a comfort thing for me. I can't tell you how many recliners I've bought which were NOT rockers, and I had to sell them or return them, because they didn't rock. I didn't realize at the time that, though the chairs were comfy, they didn't rock, and that's why I didn't like them after a very short time. So when I finally figured out that I just needed to rock now and then, I saw this inexpensive yet sturdy chair, and it works just fine. Easy and relatively fast assembly. Yeah, you may need a bit of help with the lower screw which attaches the back of the chair to the seat, but not much. It's soft and comfy enough that I can sit in it for a couple hours. It isn't what you call plush by any means, though it is comfy for me, and my feet actually reach the floor! That's a short legged person thing, and a huge plus for us! This chair has a very sturdy frame, is easy on the back, easy to slide from here to there if need be, and exactly what I needed! This chair has a basic design which fits with my loveseat...the colors and height are a perfect match! For the price, you get a small, sturdy, comfy chair which is easy to assemble and holds a LOT of weight! I recommend!

LUV IT! All that and more! Took a chance and happy I did. Super easy to assembly, came very fast, and very comfortable. I am using this in my nursery for my 6 month old. Very sturdy ,looks great and gets the job done nicely. Although the design is basic it works for me and is exactly what I wanted. Would recommend this product and company. 5 stars.

This chair was better than expected. My husband said that the quality would not be good due to the low price and I was concerned that would be the case, but it was great. Very sturdy with the metal frame and nice wood runners. They even provide a set of adhesive strips so it won't slide. Material was great. I did not want the so called "teddy bear" fabric so many others have. This was a nice suede like fabric. Assembly was fairly easy. As a senior citizen, I was able to assemble it quickly. The only drawback is that you have to push down hard on the back in order to insert the screw. Would highly recommend.

I was super excited for this chair due to the price and the weight capacity (my husband is a little over 250 pounds and every other rocking chair I see caps out at around 240/250). He started to put it together today and realized the holes on the rockers are at least half an inch off from the holes they’re supposed to attach to on the legs. Silly me, I didn’t realize this item wasn’t eligible for free returns (my own fault for not looking), and it will actually cost me more money to return it than what I paid to purchase it and get it here, so I’m just keeping it and will eat the wasted cost that I paid for it. I’m really disappointed that I got a flawed product. We are expecting our first baby in a week, and I was really excited to have this in the nursery. Now we just have a box with a faulty product.
