Material - Linen, seems durable and though not soft it’s not scratchy either Comfort - Not a “plush” chair, but definitely soft enough to nap in. It’s comfortable without being so cushy that it’s hard to get out of Size - I took a picture of it next to diaper gene for size reference. It’s small yes. But for me perfect. I’m 5’3 and needed something I could get in and out of easy while holding a baby. When I sit in chair and have feet flat on floor my knee is at perfect 90% angle and lap is flat, don’t have to use tiptoe to push off floor to glide. The chair arms are slightly lower.. maybe 2 inches above my lap. But for me I think this will make breastfeeding easier. With my last baby I found the chair arms were always too high and in the way. I can still use the arm rest for just that..an “arm rest”, it’s just not high enough to lean on or you’d have to lean forward/down. The chair back hits about mid neck, perfect for if you want to rest your head “back” meaning you’d be looking slightly up. Great for napping. It’s not tall enough to “rest” your head on while you watch TV or something though. I would say for anyone over 5’5 get a bigger chair if you want to be comfortable. Assembly - Super easy. Slide the back into the metal catches on base, couple bolts to hold it together and the chair cushion velcros to keep from sliding around. Overall - There’s not much room in the chair to share with a child over a year. This isn’t a good snuggle up and read a book with your toddler chair. BUT in the first year while baby is little I promise you that you will need a good glider and this is perfect for a petite mama. Comfortable and easy to get down/up from (if 5’5 or under) and easy to rock without having to reach or use tiptoes I’m 5’3 and 160lbs this chair is perfect size and comfy. Very happy with the quality and construction. My 6’5 husband looks a little funny in it. But he could technically use if needed.. he just wouldn’t be super comfortable ... show more

I’m 4’11 and what I enjoy most about this chair is my feet touch the floor while also having back support. My husband is 6’3 220 pounds and the chair fits him as well. A little more snug but he is still comfortable. I’d say the chair is more narrow. So if you naturally have a wider built maybe proceed with caution. However overall I enjoy the product especially for a smaller nursery the chair isn’t over powering. ... show more

This is perfect! I needed something that would fit in an apartment bedroom with all the baby stuff like the bassinet and changing table as well as our bed and dresser, I’m 5’10 and husband is 6’4 both of us can fit and rock fine. The chair is silent when rocking and it swivels great! It’s very sturdy and comfortable to sit for a while took less than ten minutes to set it up and super straight forward assembly. The fabric is a nice linen feel and not too plushy feeling. I got the cream color and it’s perfect shade of off white. It gets the job done. It rocks and swivels really nicely, and is very compact, which was our big requirement when looking for a chair that could fit in our bedroom for the first months of baby’s life. But it’s lacking in lumbar support, the cushion is a bit too stiff and hard, especially when you’ve been sitting a long time, and the seat is very low. You get accustomed to getting yourself up out of it while holding a baby, but particularly in the days immediately postpartum it was not comfortable to do so as it takes some bracing with your core and legs. I would not want to do it if I were any taller or was recovering from a C-section, and I’m very average height. My mom even thought it was low, and she’s 5’ 3”. If you’re very short or extremely tight on space it’s a good buy (though I’d still add a couple of cushions), but I would not personally purchase it again. ... show more
