I bought the 14,000 unit for my 1300 sq foot house. It is amazing at cooling. I set it at 68 when its 85 and up outside. It keeps my house at a comfy 72. I saw a lot of mentions of being loud. The side panels aren’t to scale with the parts that attach it to the air conditioner. They don’t slide in like they’re supposed to. I don’t see any other reviews mentioning this issue so it’s really upsetting to deal with when we’re in the middle of a heat advisory and I already had to deal with a delivery delay and have to wait 24 hours to use it because it was delivered upside down. I really hope I can find a way around this issue because spending 250 on something that doesn’t function properly isn’t acceptable to me.
