Be careful!!
I liked that it did work really well, However upon emptying it and replacing back in. It went in wrong and I can’t take it out or push back in. I don’t see it off track. Because I won’t be able to empty it I don’t use any more.😞I just bought it

works great
This works very well for a small kitchen or bathroom. It draws a lot of moisture out of the air. It is fairly quiet. Overall it does the job it was meant to do which is to lower humidity levels in our home.

poor customer service
stopped working after two months. At manufacturers request i sent them a video and Amazon order number. Despite trying to follow up twice i have never heard from them again. Very disappointing.

Quietly does its job
After researching and reading many reviews, I chose this little dehumidifier to tackle the humidity problem in my unducted sunroom. It does the job pretty well. After a week of running continuously, the water tank is almost full. And I think it is helping both my bedroom and large bathroom, as the sliding door between my bedroom and sunporch is left open. I do have central A/C (a necessity, I think, in Florida), my home has very efficient windows, so the A/C doesn't have to run often to maintain a comfortable temperature. The only negative, which I admit is just a minor thing, is that the colored light doesn't add any benefit to the product. And, as a caution to those who think just clicking the night mode takes care of that, it turns the dehumidifier down, which decreases its efficiency. In my home, which is in humid Florida (and this is midsummer), it means the humidity level goes from 46% when I touch that button before going to bed to 51% in the morning. Since the ideal humidity level for preventing mildew/mold growth is 45% or lower, that difference means there could be those dreaded spoors still living in my sunroom. So, my advice to the manufacturer is to keep their concentration on a good product and leave the light show to others. To prospective buyers, I recommend this little dehumidifier as a good buy. It's very quiet and efficient.

Great to have for older houses!
Love this thing! It works well in our older home to help keep the smell and humidity level down. It's great that it's on wheels and can be moved because my husband is a disable Vet and can't move it by himself if not. It has so many functions that it can do like the timer, fan, ion, night time and so many more! Only two things I wish were a little different, I wish that it were a little easier to change the water tank but I just roll it over to the tub and dump the tank so again thank god it's on wheels! And that it were a little less expensive so I could add one in the other part of our house. Love this thing!

not a refrigerant/condenser drier
Ordered this dehumidifier because of the 850-950 sq ft claim. Here's my experience: 1. The dehumidifier is a Peltier type which I was not familiar with until it arrived and I started doing research on it. It works on the basis of a thermoelectric cooler (solid state semiconductor). This type is energy efficient but is well-known for not being capable of handing larger spaces or very humid environments. Relative to a refrigerant/condenser drier, it takes a longer time and is probably best for locations like closets. 2. I used this for 24 hours in a room of about 600 sq ft and with about 60-70% humidity. At the end of the period, there was perhaps half a pint of water in the bucket and the room humidity had not budged. A refrigerant/condenser version placed in the same room over the same period had to be emptied twice of about one gallon of water each time and brought the humidity level to the upper forties. 3. Because I am not interested in dehumidifying a closet, I am no longer using this drier and cannot see using it in the future. In sum, 3 stars for probable use in closets or other small spaces.

Not good for my small rooms...
I ordered this dehumidifier and ran it for about a week. While it did collect water in the drawer, it was not even 8oz in a room with 60% humidity during the entire week. I later tried it in a number of rooms, from our computer room to a small unused bathroom to a small finished basement room. In all cases, I had to go back to a real dehumidifier as this one did very little to change the humidity as I measured it with a humidity sensor. Even if the room were too big, it should still remove much more water than it did since I normal dehumidifier will dry out the air in a matter of an hour or two and produce a significant amount of water. There are no humidity settings on this device.... just three buttons which makes no sense for humidity control. I cannot recommend this item for really helping with removing humidity... though maybe you can use it to collect a cup of drinking water each week? I am rating it 2 stars as it is doing something and wasting a lot of time and energy to do it without much change. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...
