Cressi makes a great mask. the rubber than surrounds the face is very soft and comfortable. But I found that the softness collapses the sides so that the harder rubber ridges on the inner sides press against the sides of my head. Iam a free diver and I clear my ears many times desending. The harder rubber on the base of the nose makes it difficult to fully compress my nostrils. I found the Aqua lung Techisub micro mask has none of these problems. They are both very similar. so I went with the micro mask.

Good mask, fits well on my face. This will be my 3rd mask this year, But this one doesn't leak for me. The lenses also are hard to scratch, if not impossible, which is always nice. If you're looking for lower volume then this, I would suggest Aqua Lung X Sphera, but the lenses on those ones are very delicate, easy to scratch. So I would highly recommend the Cressi Nano. Cheers!!

Bought to use as my secondary scuba mask behind my Scubapro Spectra Mini, but considering the fit I think they'll both see equal time. With the Nano, it's like the folks at Cressi took a mold of my face and custom made me a mask, it fits so well. If you have a smaller, more narrow face and an oval-shaped head, the Nano oughtta fit you just fine. Selected because 1) Cressi gear is top notch. Never had an issue over the years, and 2) Champion freediver Guillaume Nery has a face/head similar to mine, and he wears this mask, so I took a chance and it paid off (but not all masks are made for all faces, obviously.) Small internal volume with a wide view for sure. Some buyers apparently had an issue with fogging -- take a lighter to the lenses, use some mask scrub, always rinse in clean water after every use, and use defog spray. Do all that and the mask simply will not fog.

A scuba instructor once told me a good way to see if a mask fits is to place it on your face without the straps (fold the straps over the outer side of mask) - you should feel the slight suction and the mask should stay on. The "nano" version of this mask didn't stay on for me, but it could be because of my face. I'm often told that I have a small face (and larger nose) "for an East Asian female," but perhaps my face is still too big for the mask. Or perhaps it's just my face. I really like the compact design, but I wear contact lens while diving, so a snug fit is very important. Going to give the "big eyes evolution" version that is a bigger mask a try.

I've been a big fan of Cressi's snorkeling gear and have used them while snorkeling in various locations around the world. I heartily endorse the now-discontinued Kappa dry snorkel, the Alpha dry snorkel, Cressi Palau short fins, Cressi's "panorama" masks, and, the Big Eyes Evolution Crystal mask. Having owned and enjoyed Cressi's Big Eyes Evolution Crystal mask, I can tell you that this Cressi "Air" Crystal mask is nearly identical in appearance (apart from some minor cosmetic differences in color pattern and molding on the frame) and offers the same excellent performance while under water. Both masks are made in Italy, as befits their flagship status in the Cressi mask lineup (some of Cressi's other excellent masks, priced at a lower cost, are made in Taiwan). The "Crystal" moniker in these masks' names refers to Cressi's proprietary formulation of clear silicone, which it claims will resist yellowing over time. In nearly three years of use, my Big Eyes Evolution Crystal mask still looks and performs as new. The silicone conforms very tightly and comfortably to one's face and achieves a great watertight seal. Strap adjustment is quick and easy, by simply pulling out on the strap adjustment tabs, located on each side of the mask. Given the "Air" mask's near-total visual and performance similarity to the Big Eyes Evolution Crystal, if you're interested in purchasing either of these masks, I'd purchase whichever model is available for lower cost.

Pros: The mask has great field of view. The straps are easily tightened or loosened. The silicon appears to be of good quality that will last. Glass is clear. It is comfortable with no noticeable pressure points. Because it is low volume it is easy to clear. (which for me was a regular thing.) Cons: The mask leaks under the nose even when not clearing my ears. Tried shaving immediately before use and it still made no significant difference (though I do recommend you keep your lip hair shaved unless you use some type of sealant).. For me, I have a fairly large head and I think this mask might just be a little too small for my head and nose. The mask strap removal is a pain. (hint: you have to remove the pin to safely remove the strap) The mask before had a similar ratchet type adjustment but very simple to remove and attach the strap for snorkel attachments in a fraction of the time. The strap also does not appear to be as sturdy as the rest of the mask though it did not break. Unless you can time it perfect, your return window closes before you have a chance to dive with any mask so take heed since my window expired before my first dive.

I hadn't used this much, but took it along on a trip to Puerto Rico and used it extensively for SCUBA and snorkeling. It was great for visibility and fit me very well. Masks are a very personal thing. What might fit one person well could be horrible on someone else. I generally don't but masks online, but took a chance on this one and it worked out.
