    • Product has failed twice, instructions poorly translated

1. Instructions are so poorly translated into English that I have been uable to troubleshoot or maintain the unit so it works properly. 2. Used the unit for a few days, it filled with water, I removed the water and tried to follow the instructions to the best of my ability to start using the unit again. Unit failed to come on after multiple attempts. I tried the next day and it came on. I decided to give it one more shot. Unit worked a few times as it should, this AM, 4 days after my one month window for returns, unit failed to auto shut off and spilled water all over my floor, creating a shock hazard. I bought this for my bathroom as I was having trouble with mildew because high humidity wasn’t allowing anything to dry effectively. Almost immediately I noticed a difference with my towels. They were mostly, but not completely dry after a day as opposed to still just as damp as when I’d dried off the previous day. After a little research I got a small shelf to put it on as humid air rises, and it does seem to work a little better up high. The issue I see is it seems to have a maximum amount water it’ll collect in a day. I’d left it running when I went away for a few days and the condensed water collected didn’t seem to be noticeably different from when I was home to use the shower. It’ll also still feel a little muggy on humid days with whatever humidity manages to back in through the vent. All things considered if you’re looking for a small dehumidifier to reduce moisture it’ll do the job… sort of. It does works slowly, taking about a week to fill and need emptying, regardless of how much moisture is in the air. ... show more

We bought this for our camper the control the humidity. Doesn't matter whether it's an air conditioner or a propane furnace. Moisture is one of the byproducts of burning propane, especially in smaller spaces. The dehumidifier will make your air feel cooler in summer and warmer in the winter. We’ve moved it to different places within our basement and have finally found the place it collects the most moisture. Have used both with and without the hose attachment, but found I like better without the hose so that I can see how much water is being collected. Very easy to use.
