I've purchased a number of smaller dehumidifers for our bathrooms over the years to help clear out the moisture and help dry towels and shower curtains faster. Here in TN, we're always battling humidity and mildew. This is honestly the best small dehumidifier I have purchased. There are a number of features I really like that makes this one stand out from the others... 1. It moves more air than others, which helps with efficiency. 2. The drip tray under the condensers is easy to clean, because it makes up the entire top of the collection tank (instead of being contained within the unit). This also makes it possible to access the condensers with a narrow brush to clean them. 3. The back panel pops off and there is a recess where you can place some filter media (which I would recommend to keep the dust from clogging up the condenser fins and to help extend fan life). 4. It is very efficient. Most smaller units pull between 0.25-0.30 amps. This one has double peltier coolers and a strong fan, so it removes a lot of moisture, and it pulls 0.35 amps, which is roughly equivalent to a 40w light bulb. 5. The tank is quite large and includes a drain port and drainage tube. 6. The LED light projects mostly rearward, so it doesn't stab you in the eyes in the middle of the night. 7. The design is very aesthetically pleasing, with soft corners, rounded edges, and a front panel that looks almost upholstered in how it wraps around. Somebody mentioned that there is no constant-on setting, but that is the default if you just turn it on and don't select a timer option. I keep mine running 24/7. Also, if you want to turn the light off, you can either long hold the light button, or press the sleep button twice. Ours is placed on the back of the toilet where it can drain right into the toilet tank, so the collection tank never needs to be emptied. The media could not be loaded. I really had no idea what I'd be getting because the 1 picture on the website is very confusing. I've attached a few pictures and a video so you can see what it actually looks like. I have to admit that I'm pretty impressed. The overall build quality seems really good, it's very compact and it has a pretty good-sized water tank. The water tank has a float switch to turn off the unit when the tank is full. It even includes a drainage hose if you want to drain it to an area without having to empty the water tank. Besides the power switch, you can set a timer to automatically shut the unit off. In normal mode, the unit is fairly quiet. Also, there's a sleep mode that lowers the overall noise level of the unit at night. If you want a little color in the area, you can choose from several colors or none at all. Overall, this is an impressive dehumidifier. It's portable, compact and feature rich. At its current price, it's a steal. Highly recommended. My rating method: 1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it. 2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk. 3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it. 4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it. 5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. So far this has been a great little product to help. Keep our front entryway closet dehumidified through the winter months! we have been looking for a good dehumidifier for that area for a while now, and when we finally decided on this one, we were pleasantly surprised in its performance! The quality of the unit appears to be fairly good, and the tank that is easily removed catches in stores the water until you are ready to empty it. All the parts and pieces appear to be fairly good quality, and as of this time, I have no complaints whatsoever. Our closet is fairly humid, and it keeps up with all the humidity in there, just don’t forget to empty it out. If anything changes in the future, I’ll come back and edit this post, but for right now I definitely recommend checking it out! ... show more

I can recommend this dehumidifier for a small size area or a bedroom. It does works good so far. When using it make sure the air inlet is not close to the wall or free from obstruction. If using in the bedroom,it is recommended to close the door while the dehumidifier is in use. Good quality, does definitely lessen the humidity level in our bedroom. Easy to use and easy to dump the water collected. Has timer setting. no problem so far. Not too loud operation. Hopefully will last long time on continuous usage. ... show more
