I began cutting my own hair around 1999. Over the years, I’ve used both corded and battery/re-chargeable hair clippers. My wife spotted these economical clippers and ordered them to see how they would work for me. Upon receipt, the clippers and attachments are securely enclosed inside a soft-sided, yet sturdy case. The case has a single pull, good quality zipper, and a solid handle on one side for carrying. The back of the case has a large label showing the model information and a list and photo of all the attachments. Inside, the lid has an elastic mesh sleeve for keeping the instructions and other paperwork secure. This pocket also holds a barber-style bib - about 30 inches in length from the neck - in case you'd like to catch your trimmings. The base of the carrying case area has two sections, one for the clippers and one for the hair depth attachments, USB recharge cord (which is about 18" long), and oil w/ brush. - Now for the important stuff: 1) The LED read-out on the clippers is bright & large and provides how much battery life is left. The clipper machine weight-wise is heavier than most hair clippers, with the main body seeming to be made of aluminum. The high/low head slide handle is plastic, but pretty solid. The on/off slide switch is easy to operate with ample notches on the side for fingers to move. For gripping, there is a 1” x 2” rubber pad on the front for resting your thumb on while the rest of your hand grips around the back. The back has a raised, diamond pattern to assist in holding the clipper. The head section is well-made and has two Phillips-head screws to remove the head for cleaning. The clippers are solid enough that if you drop these on a rubber mat, they should survive, but if on a ceramic tile or concrete floor, like all clippers, all bets are off. The cutter head RPM is fast enough for cutting most hair. It is slightly quieter than other clippers I have had. 2) I really like the assortment and great labeling of the hair-height attachments. There are 10, plus the well-labeled left and right ear angled trim heads. They clip on over the back of the cutter head and range from #½ (1/16”) to #7 (7/8”). Besides these regular barber-known numbers, each attachment has the cutting height in inches and millimeters embossed on them. The attachments are pretty solid. I just wish they came with a bag to keep them inside of their section of the case vs leaving them loose in their section. Overall, if you’re looking for a really good quality and economical set of hair clippers, and don't mind the weight of these, this a solid purchase that should work for you. The price and quality are comparable to major known brands.

This is a nice pair of hair clippers that comes in a great carrying case which is really convenient. Everything is easily kept together and besides the clippers and case also includes the following: 11 varying guides/combs, a charging cable, cleaning brush, oil, cape and instructions. I've had this kit for over a month now I think and have used it once. The clippers cut smoothly and aren't too loud. They feel solid and not cheap but aren't super heavy either. There is also an LED display that arrived with a full charge and is still holding steady. All in all a good value and a very good kit for home use but I do not consider them professional grade. Still a quality product though and for DIYers I would definitely recommend this hair cutting and grooming kit... =)

This kit has been a surprisingly good find for keeping up with my sons hair. He is currently rocking a mullet and it needs constant maintenance to keep the back looking intentional rather than just messy. The clippers have a decent weight to them and do not feel like cheap plastic which makes it easier to keep a steady hand while I am trimming around his ears. The variety of guards included is actually useful. I mainly rely on the shorter ones for the sides and the taper guards to blend everything into the longer hair in the back. It cuts through thick hair without pulling or snagging which is the most important thing when you are dealing with a kid who does not want to sit still for an hour. The battery display is also a nice touch since I always forget to plug things in after I use them. The carrying case keeps all the small pieces from disappearing into the back of the bathroom cabinet and the battery lasts through a few full haircuts before needing a charge. It is a really nice set for anyone doing home haircuts and it has definitely saved me quite a few trips to the barber, I would recommend it.

This is a great and versatile set of clippers for an affordable price. Coming in at $39.99 but with a coupon cutting it down to $29.99, I think it's a competitive deal for a quality product. I don't do anything too complicated with my hair - between my balding spot, I usually just cut it short all around. Not doing any tapering. I prefer the hands-free version to make life easier and avoid needing to be plugged in. Easy and convenient display of the charge remaining. It's comfortable and deft enough to get the job done. They provide a little bit of oil to keep it greased and the parts moving. Overall very happy with it.
