Definitely not 1,000 square feet, not even 10 square feet. I have this in my bedroom for when the humidity gets high at night. It's collecting water but the humidity is still in the 70s. I have plenty of air flow in my room too but it just isn't working properly. It's insanely light too, like it was made very cheap. ... show more

Wow, this dehumidifer works great! We put it in the garage and the mustiness smell has gone away. The price is great for what it does. You don't even notice it is one because it is quiet. It gets rid of a lot of the water that seems to leak in. Worth getting!

I’ve been using this compact unit in my bedroom for a few days, and I’m impressed! Setup was quick, and the instructions were easy to follow. Despite its small size, the 88oz tank holds plenty of water, so I only need to empty it once a day after work. The soft white noise is barely noticeable, and the colors add a nice touch. Arrived and was well packaged. Plugged in and unit would not run. Power light stayed on. Unit would not turn on or off. Reached out to their customer support. They got back to me the next day but I had started a return. I can't say if it's a good product. I just didn't feel like messing with it.

Works as expected. Very quiet, good for a small area. Wish you could set it to a certain humidity so it shut off once it was reached, but alas, that is not to be. Next time I will upgrade to a model that allows that, but for what it is, it works just fine.

I was optimistic about this dehumidifier based on the many glowing reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. After 24 hours of use in a 400 sq. ft. room, the humidity level hasn’t dropped significantly. The room’s humidity was consistently 50–60% before using this product, and now it stays around 50–55%, with no noticeable improvement below that range. Additionally, the “sleep mode” doesn’t seem to reduce noise compared to the regular mode, which was disappointing. Finally, I purchased this for $112, only to see it drop to $60 the next day. Overall, I feel this product isn’t worth the price and would recommend considering other options. ... show more

    • Great buy
A lot of other dehumidifiers heat up the cord so I spent a little more on this one and it paid off, you get what you pay for with this. It works great, isn't too loud, and it really does pull the excess moisture out of the air, I would recommend this item.
